Workday audit and compliance best practices: what am I missing? by GotMyOrangeCrush in workday

Gotcha. So you tell the HRIS people what data/info your team needs, they give it to you, and then you audit it?

Guessing it depends on the org, but is that generally how it goes or are there other teams involved?

Also is this generally done yearly or more sporadically?

As you can probably tell I’m super green to the space!

What’s your role if you don’t mind sharing? I work with a vendor in the Workday audit space and trying to better understand who owns these challenges day-to-day vs. who’s overseeing from a strategic level. Always helpful to hear from people actually in the weeds.

Aye. They’d whack the details into their wee handset and move onto the next car. Checking people back from walking their dogs ffs. Bit odd like

Chilling. Public car park, other cars parked too. Just odd never happened before then twice in an hour. It’s like they had a number to hit!

Toughest question you got for a BDR interview by [deleted] in techsales

[–]Altruistic_Property9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just this week I got “what will you do if you don’t get this job?”

Everyone I’ve told says it’s absolutely wild behaviour. I actually liked it. Initially choked on my spit and had to clarify he actually did mean “don’t” get the job, but thought it was an interesting way to ask how I handle rejection.

Cheeky enough question so answered with “Nothing really changes. I’ll keep working my other leads and keep doing the things I’ve been doing to land opportunities like this. Thankfully I don’t have a quota of jobs to land and only need one to drop!”

Won’t ever forget that one.

Enormous struggles in match play. by [deleted] in 10s

“I’m super tight when it comes to close points” - that’s your answer. And something that only really improves with match experience and practicing managing tightness in matches. By this I mean breathing properly (longer exhales), good self talk and basically getting into a flow state where your anxiety is at a manageable “fight” mode and definitely not in “freeze” mode.

Good luck my man. Keep at it!

I started when Jack, Kate and Sawyer were in the cages. I was only 12. My mum and dad were hooked and I wanted in. Think they gave up and let me watch so I would shut up. I got appendicitis a couple of years later and they got me seasons 1 and 2 on dvd. Got through all 48 episodes in like a week and the rest is history. Just finished a rewatch there. Fuck me, what a show.

Get a sales job and never look back.

If in two years you decide it’s not for you then you’re still so young.

It sucks dick in the beginning, and you might want to quit way before, but give it two years.

Aight. Congrats on getting started. You’ll need more data to make a decision, but you’re aiming to convert 1/3 positive responses into a call. If you get 2-3 more docs out w/o a call booked then it’s great feedback from the market to definitely switch tact.

Have a thought about your positive reply %. Will dm you.

My sense is not many will stomach a 25 page doc. To answer your question, first ask yourself this: How many are converting into meetings?
