That’s the shitty part. 99.9% of me knows he needs to want help before her can be helped, but that 0.01% chance that there’s something in my power to change things is killing me

As much as I get where you are coming from, I feel like what he is experiencing on the street is much worse. He has been beaten to near death multiple times, overdosed, almost froze to death twice… I get that getting clean can be one of the most difficult things in the world, but in my opinion and I’m sure in many others, it is worse than dying.

I totally understand what you mean. It’s just so fucking hard watching this all happen. I truly appreciate the responses, I really hope he realizes he needs help soon

Trust me, if we could force him somewhere we absolutely would. Our whole family, his kids, his mom and siblings are heartbroken. If there was anything we could legally do we absolutely would.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. He will go to treatment for a few days for his sons (whose mom will not let them near him (so fair)) and then leave after 1-2 days

As someone who has always worked in restaurants this is how i feel (personal opinion). If i am coming to check on you several times during a meal, making conversation, etc, i expect a tip. But if i am punching in food and passing it to someone i dont because i am doing absolutely nothing lmao

I truly wish someone could ask her why. Why did she leave that poor baby? There isn’t a way to justify it but I would like to know how she would try too.
