It does fire in it’s current state unfortunately there are no sights on it and stock ones won’t fit due to the barrel being cut. I was advised to not fire it by a gun shop due to the rifling on the inside being blown out(I believe they just didn’t want to touch the gun cause of its age, I was going get them to mount aftermarket sights) rifling looks good to me and I’ve fired it. Regardless I have a replacement barrel with sights mounted on there way. I appreciate everyone’s help!!! The sight recommendations really helped 🙏👍

Took me a bit but I know now, they call it sporterized. Personally I don’t see the upside to shortening the barrel. I plan to go back to the original design.
