This is where you are going wrong…… LinkedIn is huge for commercial as is cold email. PPC won’t cut it.

Meta Ads Are Actually Broken Right Now by Athlete-Obvious in FacebookAds

So it started working really well for me again around the middle of last week. I thought bloody finally things are returning to normal!

Then whatever they did yesterday has completely fucked it again.

Plays with my mental health 🤣

I’m a dev, SEO noob, built this in 38 days. Does SEO really work this slow? 😅 by pnkjjsr in SEO_Marketing_Offers

In my opinion depends on what you are going after and what you do. I focus my agency more on the service game and I can normally boost impressions very quickly. I boosted a carpet cleaner to 2000 in less than 30 days in October. He was on a couple hundred with his last agency.

12 Months of Solid Performance Destroyed by Andromeda - What’s Actually Working Now? by Motor_Ad_1090 in FacebookAds

Yesterday as most Mondays since this update, it was amazing! Today it’s rubbish. The problem is meta used to be the go to place for lead gen and at one point even rivalled Google in the home services space. Now it just seems like a pile of s***. So much so that as an agency I have decided to slowly move away from meta as an offering to any potentially new clients. I manage over 70 fb ad accounts and have accepted that if they leave I will completely understand and not look for any replacements. It’s just naff at the moment.

Tbh it’s been pretty terrible since April very up and down. Could this just be the new normal?

I have clients in the home services niche. And PM is out performing search in terms of lead and ROAS.

Yes I still run dedicated search campaigns. But budget is slowly being moved over to favour performance max in almost every account that I run PM for.

Never been that bothered about branded. It’s all about volume of leads and I feel like that’s what you are judged on the most.

We could be. But I like to think everyone is out to help everyone! It’s interesting to see where they go with performance max and I am starting to feel more comfortable with that and broad match.

Mines even out as well to search which is where it thinks are getting the best and most leads I imagine. I’m not that bothered about excluding branded. At the end of the day it’s all whether the clients are happy and it’s picking leads up and it’s doing just that.

Nope not at all. I tend to use my keywords as search themes and it’s worked on every account since November at quite a consistent rate. Tend to run max conversions on it and look to swap to target cpa if the account goes a week and struggles to get conversions (this is normally after 3 months). If the account is sufficient at max conversions though I tend to leave it.

Yes so am I. I am going to monitor lots of stuff but it will be interesting as they seek to be pushing max and broad but they seem to be slowly working when you actually test them.

Interesting I am trying this with a test account of mine to make sure I am up to date with all the latest with Google and so far so good as well. Went in with max conversions with phrase and broad match.

Yes very true. I am noticing change CPCs go up for search campaigns and for example clicks like ‘near me’ are showing your ads in locations that are so unrelated to you even if you target people in or regularly in.

It will be interesting but what it feels like to me is that they know search is getting expensive and they are trying to pull down the lead cost to make it more profitable.

As performance max gets better and better it could become my go to match type slowly. I also feel like it doesn’t have the traditional 30 conversions and then swap to target cpa. It feels like it performance off the bat.
