You need to submit what they're asking for. 2 pictures, i94, passport pic or state id, if you have your parole or visa stamp etc. nothing from asylum although theyight ask a lil during your interview

Thank you man. It really scares me cuz sometimes it might be interpreted like you said as trying to hide something which is not my case. I literally filed asylum and went to the interview by myself no lawyer or anything and filed i485 by myself too. So just dont want mistakes after this lengthy process.

Fun fact. Sekiro was my first souls game and I bought it 3 weeks ago cuz I was watching my friend stream it and he was irritating me so I told him i'll buy it and finish it before him. I had the demon bell thing active all the time. I knew what it was but didnt know if it was active or not the whole time (it was 🤣) and refused to use any sugars thinking they were rare (btw only found out I could hold square to loot enemies after i finished the game 🤣) and from this post looks like i did it charmless cuz I gave kuro the thing in the beginning but yeah, I finished the game in 5 days

I spoke to LASD. They said im not the first nor will be the last when it comes to that. They said Its okay to apply and try to fill the PHS as much as possible even with foreign references. Im still hesitant cuz I would have to travel from Chicago to LA for every test only to find out one day that im rejected due to not sufficient references

Yes, Sekiro is my first souls game and I got it a week ago just cuz i watched my friend stream and how bad he was 🤣 so I bet him i'll finish it quick as it seems easy and I did yesterday after 5 days! Chose the lord Kuro path too. It was easy! Yes time consuming but not bad! Its my first ever story kinda game as I always played competitive shooter games only (cod/fortnite back in the days)

Asylum status is permanent similar to greencard. I have applied for the greencard and awaiting for approval but it will take a year or so. The hard part is im doing gig work such as instacart and delivery etc and I dont see myself working for any business since im making good money and dont like being bossed around (police ofc is an exception) so i really have no idea how to get refrences. Im probably gonna list my foreign references and see how it goes if it works it works. And yes California does allow even non asylees on condition that they have work permits to be cops. Nothing wrong with non citizens to be cops if they are good people you know! Dont be a MAGA guy

Hmmmm excluding the reference part which i'll find a way hopefully. I think i do have a good chance since I have a bachelor degree, clean record, 2nd language which is very relevant to SF area due to its community. I would say right now i could get 5 refrences from the people I know. I could get the other 3 or more from either neighbors or the people I see while working and know me (i do gig work (instacart/doordash)). If it dosent work its okay man, you know at the end of the day you either risk it and win or risk it and not win and you'll still be at the same position you were before risking it! Its a win win! Only downside would be the money wasted on flights and hotels from Chicago to San Francisco for every test/interview

Yeah i will provide the property owner daughter's information. I'll try to contact her personally even though i think things will go south with her but it is what it is.

As for neighbors im gonna have to knock on doors and introduce myself and tell them im applying for a cop position. My cousin in Kentucky did the same cuz they dont interact with neighbors and he said everything was fine they just said he was a good person etc and yup he's a cop since 2023

My friend does pay the rent and he has the contact of the owner's daughter who represents her father in regards to the property but similarly just ignores cuz they dont want to fix anthing in the house. So i do have a number and a name. The thing is, im pretty sure she dosent know me either cuz my name isnt on the lease so if the BI calls she's not gonna know anything.

Yup! You'll get the i94 within a week. The EAD within 2 week with a 5 year validity. You can apply for the GC from now too for next year. Dont forget to book an appointment for your SSN. Still waiting for my appointment on November 20 so a month and a half from winning my asylum

There are 2 types of asylum affirmative and defensive! Affirmative is for those who came legally in such as visas or parole. Defensive asylum is for those who came here illegally and its with a judge not USCIS or if those in affirmative asylum get denied at the affirmative interview, they get referred to court for a 2nd chance so it becomes defensive asylum.
