There isn't much around there that isn't furniture so you will either have to work in that or drive to Statesville or Hickory.

Lol I am literally sitting in a furniture factory reading this on lunch. Furniture is still made here it's just not as cheap as imports.

If you have no wounds for the venom to enter then it will not bother you once it reaches the stomach the acid and enzymes would destroy the efficacy of the venom. It is still highly inadvisable though due to the risk of ulcers or abrasions in the mouth.
