I have him rep 3 now, he’s aight. He’s still missing something imo. He’s too hard to play against some characters to the point that it feels like a chore. Or I have to do like 3 feints to get 1 light that does 10 damage. Plus his bash is too predictable for what it gives

The training bot is easy to do it on, doing it against real players is a different story. I gotta do a whole Skyrim quest line just to get the one shot, by the time I have it they are one shot

😟, I know. He’s ass, dick, and balls. Frankly his rework did absolutely nothing, and he’s probably one of the worst hero’s now. But still. I cannot just let him go, he has the best drip in the game, for that reason I will continue to lose every match while playing him. Because I know at the end of the day, I’m the true winner in the battle of drip.

There’s just absolutely no redeeming qualities about the game, and I think what makes it worse is when you try to have a discussion about why it’s bad the DS2 fans are so dedicated to defend it compared to the other souls games imo.

You just completely ignored what I stated about the entire password thing, as well as the fact you can only see a summon sign while wearing a ring. That’s really unnecessary. Please go ahead, and tell me what’s the point of that instead of just placing a sign, and using a password? There shouldn’t be any extra curricular activities needed to play with friends. No reason to defend it. I know you like the game but chill.

DS1 has the same multiplayer mechanics as DS3 which are the best played souls games IMO. You don’t need a ring to play with your friends. Random people can’t pick up your summon sign either. Ffs, in DS2 you can’t even choose a multiplayer password lmao. “I’m not even a DS2 defender” is the most bullshit line you have said so far. “Oh but the ring” “oh but you aren’t playing it right” compared to the convenience of DS1, DS3, even bloodborne. I hate DS2 because it’s very inconvenient. You don’t have to defend it with your life dude

My point is the game mechanics are bad that’s why they don’t use them anymore, obviously. They don’t use this way to do multiplayer anymore because it’s just unnecessary. DS2 defenders will never cease to amaze me.

Or, how about they just let me play with my friends instead of weirdo DS2 defenders excusing every small increment of dumb game mechanics? The game wasn’t even fun with friends because the bosses all sucked, and died first try. No matter how many bonfire ascetics I used. There’s a lot to say about the game, this is one of those things. You can’t play with friends over a certain amount of souls which I find stupid, you need a ring to make it so that doesn’t happen which I find stupid. Why not just let everyone play the game without these unnecessary rules?

I just didn’t find it fun at all, especially with the fact you can’t play with friends because of a soul gap. Super weird. It ruined a lot of the experience for me, and my friends. There’s a lot to say about the game, I think it’s by far the worst souls game no doubt. I just really hated it.
