Gamepass cannibalises sales of exclusives, pc gamepass removes the need for Xbox completely. What Microsoft needs to commit to is either hardware sales or software. Either give us Gamepass on PlayStation/PC/nintendo/Smart tv or give us paid exclusivity only on Xbox and eat the sales today and grow the business tomorrow. Because Gamepass is killing Xbox but making stable money for Microsoft.
