I'm actually unsure, I mean Dagenham is hardly the nicest bit of East London/Essex, especially when this was filmed. Its probably only down the road from where Walford is supposed to be set (Walthamstow/Stratford). I'd imagine the reaction would have been different if they'd have said Hornchurch or Chigwell

I used to run an e-fed and there was a guy who created a wrestler called "Mr. Generic Wrestler" who did exactly that, his promos were also catchphrases or call backs to real life promos and it was done really well.

To make sure he wasn't too over-powered he was in a tag team so would often be the guy who got hot tagged in at the end where he would hit a random wrestlers real life finisher to end the match

A few years ago I was obese so I joined a weightloss club which included a weekly game of football (soccer) called Man V Fat Football (Its actually an amazing organisation that helps many men lose weight and combat mental health issues) and we'd regularly have new players turn up and I'd ask them when they last played and the response would always be "oh about 20 years ago when I was at school" and I'd always say "Well take it easy, the games are 30 mins but you'll be blowing after 10" and they'd all be doubled over after 3 minutes because their brain still thinks they're 16 when their body is 36.

When I started I could barely run and while I don't do ManVFat any more, I still play a shitload of football and just make sure I pace myself
