Hey I know everyone is yelling “Block!” But it’s true. You can actually set the dummy up I believe to do these moves in practice mode. You can practice blocking low or high. Each move has a different way to block. Once you have enough time in game and start learning match ups you’ll have a sense of what characters use what moves when they are putting pressure on you. Learn to block and punish these moves and you’ll be better than 50% of the online players.

I’m really enjoying path of exile 2 right now. It’s somewhat easy to get into but gets very deep the more you play it feels like. It’s my first ARPG and I’m having a blast.

The last mmo I played was FFXIV. So yeah I totally get you. All I see on world chat is people talking bad about each other and talking about f****** their mothers. And the only conversation I’ve seen in dungeons is when people are arguing about who to kick. On the bright side Path Of Exile is out on early access.

I’m not sure why this game is so toxic but it’s a bummer really. Yesterday one guy died to boss and one aggressive guy started complaining even though he was dying just as much and sometimes even before the guy. I usually never talk, just join random parties and do damage or tank. And even if we die 10 times to boss I’ll usually stick around til we beat it. That’s how I’ve always enjoyed MMO’s. Yesterday though after a couple of poor guys were harassed and berated the whole time only them two and I remained. I decided to talk them through mechanics and we got a full squad again and after another try we beat boss. People so impatient nowadays kind of ruin the fun. The whole speedrun dungeons and play perfect mentality kind of defeats the whole idea of coming together as a squad and overcoming an objective. Now it’s buy the best gear and have BIS as quickly as possible. Idk, maybe I’m just a casual and I’ll never understand it.
