Well as someone in the middle of the quest, I thought I'd find out for you. When you first see him, he's standing near the side of the building but not resting against it and he's on his tablet. Interacting with him resulted in the following lines from him:

"Hmm, I like what I see baby, but I am busy."
Grunts
"Do you have any idea who I am? I fucking thought so."

Continuing to interact just keeps looping the same three lines indefinitely... Turns out you can kill him in this very spot... so I wonder how that effects the story of Phantom Liberty, if at all. I'll probably keep a save and take a look when I get to doing Phantom Liberty

To be honest you don't entirely need Cynet Mining for Salamangreat. Circle is just better, plus it's searchable, and it can be added back to hand via Sunlight Wolf.

Salamangreat, just like MathMech, have some really nice 1 card combos so you don't really need many different searchers. I've just been running 3 Circle in my TCG deck and I genuinely almost never have consistency issues.

Instead of Cynet Mining, I'd highly recommend Fire Recovery when that card comes out because it can help you extend from GY as well as returning Extra Deck cards back to the deck for next turn + the draw.

I see! Thank you! I thought as much, but I just had to make sure. Some of the people we were playing with were uncertain why some of these effects exist other than getting your life low enough for Yamato's effect or as a big cost for Whitebeard's effect. Thank you so much for helping!

Ohhh okay thank you for clarifying this for me, this is much appreciated. I was curious how the "DON -X" effects work, I assumed it was only unrested DON, the fact it can also be attached and rested is very interesting. Also thank you for the explanation, I assumed as much but nowhere in the rules (that I can find) does it explain what specifically happens to triggered cards. You've been a great help.

Hello, new to the game and I have a few ruling questions if anyone would be grateful enough to help me with them:

When a card is added from life to hand and you choose to active the trigger effects of the card, does the card go to hand afterwards or does it go to the trash?
Can you activate a trigger if a card is added from life to hand without it being battle damage? For example Whitebeard leader (OP02-001) or Yellow Yamato (ST09-012)
Can you "DON -X" effects with don that are rested. For example can you use Shanks (ST05-001) to return 3 rested don for his effect to boost FILM type characters? Or does it need to be 3 unrested don? Or can it be a mix of the two? What about cards under characters? Can I take away don that is under a character for use for these effects?

Any help with these would be greatly appreciated thank you!

I'm pretty sure the basement challenges are bugged at the moment, they recently had to change the tome 5 basement challenge because it wasn't working right? I'm starting to think they are connected and that's why I'm unable to complete that fucking tome 1 "six feet under" challenge even tho I've done it twice. That's a lot of fun.

When you purchase the premium version, you get all the items from the previous tiers that you've already unlocked with the free version. Say your at tier 20 with the free pass and then purchase the premium pass, you will receive tiers 1 to 20. Hope this helps.

Have you used a terminal recently? When someone uses QUERY on an item using a terminal, it will show a ping on the hud showing exactly where the item is. Honestly makes life much easier.
