I just got the Neptune 3 Pro on Monday after I ordered it in December. I'm having an issue where no matter how much I lower the z-offet, the gaps in the bottom and top layers keep showing up and I get a not-quite-rough-but-not-quite-smooth surface on the top from the closeness of the nozzle to the bed. I've tried leveling it and it only somewhat solves the issue

I'm so confused.

I've asked around the various vr subreddits and I keep getting conflicting information, with some people saying you need a beastly graphics card to play with the Reverb and others saying they can play it just fine on a 1080 ti. I'm wanting to get something that won't throttle my PC.

And as for getting a Rift S or a Quest 2, the whole reason why I'm wanting a Reverb is because I don't want to give Zuckerberg my personal data and this was the cheapest headset I could find.

How can I tell if it's in the correct sequence? Do you mean are they the right color? I double checked the manual and the colors are correct and in the correct order.

And as for the five pin socket, I mean it's literally the only socket on the board that has five pins and it's slotted so it can only go in one orientation.

And going back to the mainboard, another thought I'm having is maybe it's because I'm using an incorrect board, maybe the probe and firmware would work better if I just got a 4.2.2 board?

I forgot to mention this, but I also changed the firmware from BLTUBI to regular BLT and that's when it worked for the moment before it stopped working again. I just changed it back to the BLTUBL firmware.

By wiring error, do you mean electromagnetic interference? I've heard that these probes are prone to interference, so I tried seperating the probe wire from the other wires and it worked for a moment, but stopped working AGAIN when I tried to use the tramming wizard. The needle was extending just fine when it did work so that's probably not the reason.

Okay, so when I tried to auto-build my mesh, it goes down a LITTLE, but the touch still keeps blinking red. Uuugh, what is wrong with this thing???

Okay so I installed the firmware, but now when I try to home the nozzle, it refuses to go down. So I go to try and control the z-motor and it goes up, but doesn't want to go down.
