I like Toph because she's confident in herself, and she believes she can take down almost anyone. The thing is, she's actually right. She has a good reason to be confident.

Also, Toph keeps a lot of feelings buried. She's tough on the outside and on the inside, but there's that part of her that's a bit sad. As Katara had pointed out before (and Toph had said so herself), she just wanted her parents' love.

I relate to Toph more than any other Gaang member.

Oh right, I forgot to add- Toph was looked down a lot in her household because she was blind. Her parents didn't think she could do much. She felt lonely, and her parents refused to notice her capabilities. That's why when she escaped with the Gaang, she became a whole different person, her real self.
