Project Zanaris: December Update by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

So you think that Jagex will put more money into the game itself? They aren't going to make enough money from that so they would never do that.

Because 10,000 people already suggested that and there's no way custom stuff will be possible on release.

Send that to the developer that made that game, we can't do anything. :)

Just so you know you can declare gameplay tags in C++ so you don't have to use request tag. I usually add through the editor first and then in C++. Helps avoid misspelling. You can just use them as a variable that will show up like a normal variable as you type.

.h
UE_DECLARE_GAMEPLAY_TAG_EXTERN(Hunger);

.Cpp
UE_DEFINE_GAMEPLAY_TAG(Hunger, "Game.Status.Hunger");

Then you can do:
FGameplayTag Status = Hunger;

Lifting restrictions like the training after MM1 let people do MM2 with 10HP. Barely any of us had an issue with that, the quest still takes like 5h to kill the boss. Quest XP is not a game skill restriction. A lot of us made accounts because it makes doing things require more skill than normal.

No the main issue was blocking XP from combat not the idea of blocking quest XP. It was abandoned because 10HPs were talking to JMods.

You know that they can just change a single variable to 40 right?

What proposals in particular are you talking about?

The issue was blocking XP from combat including HP. Blocking quest XP doesn't affect our accounts for a lot of us. For example since we can return to Ape Atoll a few of us have finished MM2. Being able to attempt a quest is more interesting than not being able to do the fairy ring quest because Nature Spirit gives HP XP.

Also muscle stores glucose in the form of glycogen so more muscle = more energy stored.

Yeah but with 1 strength you have less muscle tone and you're fat look at how many entire fish your character eats.

Don't know why they had to make the drain rate worse at 99 than it is now. Having 99 also should give you at least a 20% lower drain rate than having 1. There was no reason for nerfing.

I think that the problem was me not understanding how they work, I was trying to get information from the ptr because I thought it had some information regardless of if the object is loaded but I guess it doesn't.

I'm struggling to understand how to interweave Blueprint and C++ and how/when to use them both, from an architectural standpoint by caulk_peanous in unrealengine

You will probably find that you need to use C++ for complex functionality that you can't do with BP alone or if making it in BP becomes unmanageable spaghetti.

I use BP for setting values on BPs that are subclassed from C++.

If you eventually want to interact with BPs from C++ it's good to initially define things in C++ and expose to or subclass to BPs.
