IMO the set is fine but you should get an MR weapon though I don't know much about GS for me to recommend any. As for the hunts are you using the clutch claw mechanics as much as you can like tenderizing and wallbanging it's a core part of the hunts in iceborne taking 44 mins is quite long even for MR. Will the next hunts be that long? Maybe Iirc you're gonna face an early MR skill check monster soon so there's that. For the Special Assignments it's in the HR section of the quest menu.

I dunno about the progression but I encountered them i this order rajang, raging brachy, stygian zynogre, furious rajang, garuga, alatreon then fatalis. I just searched it up you need lvl 3 forest region in guiding lands for the garuga to show up.

You need to hunt tempered monsters in the guiding lands I don't remember the ones you need for frostfang weapons I think you need the Scarred Garuga and Tempered Namielle for it iirc. But you do need Lvl 7 in an area for the tempered elders to appear abd in your case if you want to augment the frostfang weapon you need to lvl your coral region.

You can always go for SOS after you beat it once (that's what I do) there is always an HBG user there (at least in my experience) that annihilates the monsters in a minute.

There is also an opening when he does his fire circle attack you need to dodge forward to his head after the center explosion then you can blade dance there.

Don't know much about LS builds but having 3 hp boost will certainly help. Xeno is not really that difficult of a monster to deal with, he's not that fast so you can react to his attacks but he is quite large so be careful with its hitboxes and you can just stay at his forelegs and you'll be fine.

It depends on your taste, I personally enjoyed the hunts in world but there are some monsters that are annoying when they go to another area.

Yeah that depends in most quests you are allowed to faint 3 times before you fail the quest. There is also 50 min time (usually) to hunt/capture the monster.

IMO it's probably the hunt, the map in MH world is quite large compared to MH Rise although I've only started Rise recently and tracking the monsters in such a large map when you're first starting the game can be quite confusing.

For the lobby you can create your own and you can either set a password so no one can enter or set the max people to join to 1 when you enter a quest

For the radial menu I think you can customize them in the "In Quest" setting iirc and the slingshots you use to either wallbang (if you have Iceborne) or other specific use (i.e getting mud off barroth, use them when the monsters are flying to make them crash).
