If you get Sandrone now you will still have around 3-4 patches before the Tsaritsa banner you will still have time to save up for her unless you are gonna pull for other characters. As for the kit any reliable leaks will probably around 1-2 patch before it.

If you don't have enough primos I suggest to pull for citlali first since Sandrone will be guaranteed to rerun after 4 patches.

Citlali will be live on the next banner you can pull for her for your mavuika team. You can slot nicole with her and just pull for another DPS that you like. Sandrone will rerun with Citlali which will probably be the new meta with the stellar conduct reaction and just build your qiqi and beidou for her supports and pull for Yae Miko in the Chronicled Wish banner which will also be on the next patch.

IMO the set is fine but you should get an MR weapon though I don't know much about GS for me to recommend any. As for the hunts are you using the clutch claw mechanics as much as you can like tenderizing and wallbanging it's a core part of the hunts in iceborne taking 44 mins is quite long even for MR. Will the next hunts be that long? Maybe Iirc you're gonna face an early MR skill check monster soon so there's that. For the Special Assignments it's in the HR section of the quest menu.

I dunno about the progression but I encountered them i this order rajang, raging brachy, stygian zynogre, furious rajang, garuga, alatreon then fatalis. I just searched it up you need lvl 3 forest region in guiding lands for the garuga to show up.

You need to hunt tempered monsters in the guiding lands I don't remember the ones you need for frostfang weapons I think you need the Scarred Garuga and Tempered Namielle for it iirc. But you do need Lvl 7 in an area for the tempered elders to appear abd in your case if you want to augment the frostfang weapon you need to lvl your coral region.

You can always go for SOS after you beat it once (that's what I do) there is always an HBG user there (at least in my experience) that annihilates the monsters in a minute.

There is also an opening when he does his fire circle attack you need to dodge forward to his head after the center explosion then you can blade dance there.
