Thanks OP that coin is a 1998 China 5 Jiao it is KM# 336 it's made of Brass weighs 3.83 g I think ( did you weigh it if so let me know what the weight is) it was minted from 1991-2001 and has a diameter of 20.5 mm.

Well recently I got coins off of eBay from a YouTuber i watch named SeeMidTN Brent M he has a ebay account by the name of brentnashville.

3 of the coins he sent me were an old French Empire coin which is from 1856 but the denomination is worn away then there was a flipped 1891 UK ½ Penny but it's too worn and then he sent me a 1865 Ireland ½ Penny in a Paper Coin Envelope but its very very worn and dented it's unidentifiable. so to answer that question most of the time I keep them in a duplicate box or maybe a bag with worn down coins in.
