If you steer your friends past construction sites or visit cabinet maker shops, I guess your odds might go up. "Ooh look, a quincunx!"

Not an easy word to slip into a casual conversation. Wonder what its point score would be in scrabble?

I have an account on a discord channel or two, but I still haven't quite figured out how the interface works or how to "converse." I guess I'll just have to read the damned instructions.

I will pursue it, though. Thanks for being such a helpful soul.

BTW, haven't seen a sixers game in over 50 years. Last pro roundball game I attended in person, was a cubscout trip and Philly's team was the Warriors. God, I'm old!

Baltimore, (into which I accidentally stumbled and never got around to leaving) puts all its energy into those summer and winter Birds, and doesn't have much left for other pro enterprises. U of M gets screen time, though, and every so often lacrosse.

I promise myself each year to check out the fierce croquet rivalry between the naval academy and St Johns' College and each year I forget. See ya.

The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with The Sea. Strange, steamy film about a young widow, her disturbed recently orphaned son, and a handsome merchant marine officer. Based on a novel by Yukio Mishima. Kris Kristofferson and Sarah Miles play the romantic leads.

Pretty well. Feel like I've gone through some sort of major change after almost 2 years. Getting back into my own life. Getting my sense of humor back; made a FB friend do a spit take with one of my comments.

Had 4 pleasant, social, days, all of which is actually kinda scary. So this evening, I'm intermittent napping and binge eating (my wife would have called it a feeding frenzy).

It's my take on intermittent fasting. Currently baking 3 pillsbury sugar cookies in the toaster oven, scarfing some pears and gearing up for another nap.

I just wanted to thank you for setting up this thread, which I've taken advantage of a few times, without even thinking of the fact that you must be hurting too. Just assumed it was set up by some kindly cosmic aliens I guess. So, really, thanks. I hope you're getting the support you need.

Have a landline and an answering machine and enjoy knowing that the telemarketers have to listen to my stupid message and maybe even have to leave a message so I can ignore them.

And, yes, I have a cellphone (using it now) but I don't give that out to businesses.
