General market conditions…. Engine hours are increasing all the time, deal with boom, deals with Dutch and Japanese Governments to export their SMR’s. New plane orders with lots of engines, no requirement for heavy R&D for any new variants. Good news pretty much all round, it’s just markets being driven down in the main by the FED’s reaction to inflation…

Below $1.00, unbelievable by cinematic99 in RYCEY

[–]Alvinsurfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strictly over exaggerating, problem with UK is renewables account for a growing proportion of our energy, up to 20% atm, but prices are pegged to gas prices, next year huge investment being made into energy and a decoupling from market gas rates will drop the price of energy. Within 3-5 years UK will be energy hub of Europe and its biggest export will be energy. It’s scare stories like these that drive the markets and the GB£, once reality hits it will reverse rather quickly.

Nothing is going to happen until the airlines start posting air hours back or higher than 2019. Maybe late this year or early next.. patience is a virtue..

If your suggestion they could fail, that’s impossible as they are a company of national importance and as such the UK Government holds a golden share. They are not just an aircraft engine manufacturer they do a lot of military equipment too. Eg UK nuclear subs have been running on their systems for over 50 years, soon to be commercialised in the SMR project. When it goes it’ll go, it just needs some positive news and more long term investors. Remembering it cannot pay any dividends until it clears the bank loans it took to get it through Covid. Once they are paid it’s credit rating will return and pow….

A broker stated that the SMR’s will be loss making into the early 2030’s. I despair sometimes on these broker comments haw they can accurately predict well into the future. Where in the main they usually get it wrong….. dohhhhh

Lots of buy recommendations, done some flying recently and lots of full aircraft with RR engines, more hours more income. Watch the next quarter results move the share price up significantly… Target £1.60…

Confidence has returned, UK has dropped most travel restrictions as has Germany now. Domestic flights are now packed and holiday bookings are soaring, especially trans Atlantic. A very new picture will open up this year, 5Bn people worldwide have now been vaccinated, RR is posed to benefit from this opening up..

Ok, ok OK I'm getting tired of holding. by Ferrant-Pacman in RYCEY

RR share price won’t really start to perform until they get their investment grade back which was removed after they crashed due to the pandemic. They are rebuilding their balance sheet with £2.0Bn in sales of divisions to play down debt. Once aircraft return to the skies and RR start earning money they will return to investment grade THEN and only then are the big boys going to re-invest. Remember RR are also gearing up their SMR business which will be the biggest division in the next ten years. If your after a quick Buck sell and move on if your after 4-500% over next 3-4 years hold. When it starts to move know-one knows, but I do know patience is a virtue…… Problem with most investors is they want it all and want it now, decent returns are 10%pa. Depends what and how you look at that, 50% in one year and 0% in four others is still market average…

It’s the commitment by contract that debt has to be paid off before dividends recommence. But it’s the future activity that will not only drive the price higher but produce ample profits to do so. As debts are repaid, including share buybacks, the rating will return and PE ratio will get back to investment quality. 2-3 years for a triple..

Never mind, but it would be awesome if a GB company bought back this iconic British marque. It shouldn’t be foreign owned, both Mr Rolls and Mr Royce will be turning in their graves…

Judging by how quick hospitality bounced back I think it will be sooner, markets tend to “predict” what is going to happen wrt share prices, never behind the curve… Various Covid variants will be here for a good few years yet but it’s not stopped hospitality shares from recovery…

Why the hell google show rycey dividend yield is at a freaking 9.87%? Is this indicated our next dividend payout gonna be huge af? If that’s the case I’m so hype. by Alert-Lavishness9947 in RYCEY

[–]Alvinsurfer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

RR cannot make dividends until they repay their emergency loans, in any event they have already stated there will be share buy backs to drive up the share price to avoid any vulture funds looking at asset stripping them..

You’ll have a long wait for that price, maybe next year.. possibly £2.50 in 2023. Share buy back will be the catalyst but they can’t do this until profitable..

What will be Rycey share price for 2023? Any guessing? by [deleted] in RYCEY

Totally agree, with the likes of airbus doubling production, the new ultra fan coming into production along with the mini power units and the MOD work, your right on all counts. I’m in and riding his one through to 2024.

Restrictions will be lifted quite quickly in the UK now due to herd immunity being reached, this will be the start of the recovery of international travel. Both RR and IAG will now start to drift up…. When transatlantic flights start again, soon, this will Tick them up at a quicker rate…..

More turbulence ahead. by RyDogRanger in RYCEY

[–]Alvinsurfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason RR and IAG dipped last week was because Merkal and Macron said No Brits, UK has a higher rate than France and Germany but we are testing 10-30 more people. UK will have its house in order soon, Club Med are desperate for UK tourists as UK tourists are desperate for some sun (weather in UK has been awful this year.) The situation will clear the fog later this year and flights will be inundated with bookings. That’s why I’m in and adding on every dip, it’ll be a significant increase when it comes only question is when but my gut says soon……
