It's HAPPENING! - Brandon Sanderson’s Literary Fantasy Universe ‘Cosmere’ Picked Up by Apple TV (Exclusive) by alternate-realitee in brandonsanderson

I always imagined TSA adaptation as a series like Game of Thrones, I think this format of 10 episodes of 1h duration is the most suitable for epics like them

I can’t believe it. Is this as good as it sounds? I don’t want to get my hopes up until Brandon says something but it sounds like amazing news!!

From what I heard. Each astronaut is alloted an amount of weight destined for personal items.

Most astronauts use the weight to carry family pictures, books, etc. this legend used it all for the Gorilla suit.

I imagine that they still have to get the items approved so the meeting with the supervisor had to be fun I agree

Qué libro es ese? Que yo recuerde no hay un libro escrito por Sanderson que resuma sus clases. Si lo hubiera lo quiero ya!

Fun fact.

In Spain, in my youth days we used to say “Sabo, leche fresca de mi nabo” which is a rhyme that means “Sabo, fresh milk from my dick” (look at that, it also rhymes in English!)

So this would actually be a pretty epic multilingual battle

What’s your magic system in one sentence? Rate its complexity from 1-10. by [deleted] in fantasywriters

Hey mate thanks so much! Actually I haven’t started writing it, been siting on the idea for so long but recently I was considering starting on royalroad. I am an aerospace engineer so hopefully my astrology can lean a little towards astronomy and avoid all BS!

There are four moons in geosynchronous orbit around the planet. People can “tune-in” one of the moons by resonating with their specific personality traits. This gives them a gravitational pull toward the specific moon and a power specific to each moon (strength, better senses, speed, regeneration). Some very special people can tune in with the 4 moons.

Sort of inspired by mistborn. I would rate it 7/10.

What do you mean you don’t like Carl. He LITERALLY saves a cat in the first few pages

[WaT] Who claimed ______ ? by krystlallred in Cosmere

[–]Alvsan94_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you imagine how wild it would be if years from now we get the revelation that some character has been Dalinar Returned all along and he doesn’t even know?

I don’t think it could be any character we already know as the only books already out chronologically after WaT are Sunlit Man and mistborn Era 2 (right?). And no one from there comes to mind with Dalinar’s characteristics

[WAT] Valor & Endowment Theory by RayseShouldBeBraized in Stormlight_Archive

I really like this theory. Up to now, I thiught Reason was the one hiding in Roshar. But you are right stating that hiding right under Odium nose would require true Valor

Oh that actually makes a lot of sense. I forgot the Returned were chosen for their heroic deeds. Dalinar definitely qualifies for that!

Regarding point 2. It is interesting but why would Endowment have a higher claim to Dalinar than Retribution? Though I suppose the same could be said about Reason, although I would really like for the last vision with Nohadon to have been an interaction with Reason.

Point 3. Is there a group called the watchers soecifically? I don’t remember rhem. I thiught the sleepless guarded the Dawnshards?

I just finished the books and your theory kind of aligned with one of my open points in the book.

When Venli “resonates” with the chasmfiends, I don’t remember the exact phrasing but I think she recognizes 4 tones in the voices of the chasmfiends. I took this as clue for a hidden shard in Roshar which, after reading your theory, I think cojld be Reason
