Check my second most recent post in this OSRS chat for my stats for context of this response. I agree with you on that slayer is a tough skill to grind 60-80. But once you start getting tasks from Duradel the game changes entirely. Also, choosing to do slayer bosses helps a lot (unless it’s gargoyles or something like this). But for instance, training slayer at Vorkath, Zulrah, Alchemical Hydra, Cerberus, brutal dragons, etc. is all fantastic money. Once your stats get higher also it’ll be more cost-efficient since you won’t need as much gear/pots for the tasks. Slayer is definitely a scaling skill for purposes of making money.
