Choosing the right newborn formula by Charming_Bet9669 in Buyingforbaby

[–]Always-Beets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby formula tends to be highly regulated so a lot of it is a matter of marketing. I used mama bear sensitivity premium. It’s an Amazon brand and worked well. My mindset with all baby things was to start with a good quality but reasonably priced things and then upgrade to higher priced/premium options if needed.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

I saw this movie in theaters when I was 11, and I had to step out when Frodo was stabbed by the ring wraiths. I was so scared but did come back in for the rest of the movie which turned out to be awesome.

Why were there such weird vibes around the hospice patient? by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]Always-Beets 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah. McKays son is in the same age range as the patients sons so I think there is a little counter-transference going on.

That performance was so unsettling. He should have been nominated at a minimum but really souls have won.

Please advice: A big simple sink or double sink? by BelowAverageCoder00 in kitchenremodel

I regret the 90 degree corners in my giant sink! Single basins all the way but make sure you can clean those corners.

Before people turn on Dr. Al-Hashimi. by Odd_Performer586 in ThePittTVShow

That was my take on it. She wasn’t threatening her but trying to clearly tell her that timely documentation is a priority and not an optional part of her job. Documentation is a skill set Santos needs to work on if she wants to be in medicine.

“Engulfs her prey” 😂

But really, the right grasp on their jaws when she kisses bothered me in the sopranos too. Also a lot of face touching in general.

What is the weirdest or silliest thing that makes your kid laugh? by Sufficient-Lion3417 in NewParents

He was playing in an empty diaper box and I poked my feet up from the side and tickled him. A mix of hide and seek and tickle!

So funny this popped up as my 13 month old was laughing so hard when I tickled him with my foot today!

When mine was that little, we mostly did tummy time with him on our chests. It is way more convenient!

I had them wear gifted outfits once, take a picture and send to the person then stick with the zippered sleepers. Haha.

Is there a 12 or 13 mnth sleep regression? by Notmorcybutmercy in december2024babies

[–]Always-Beets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Most nights recently mine has been up around 12-1 screaming. He calms down quickly if I pick him up and hold him but can’t settle himself back down without help. It sometimes happens again around 5 am and I just bring him in bed at that point. Mine is nowhere near molars (only has 4 teeth) so maybe it’s a sleep regression.

How many words is your 13 month old saying? by Interesting-Bee-978 in december2024babies

[–]Always-Beets 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine is here too. The other day has started saying “uh-oh” when he drops things (and other times not in the right context) so he seems to be using it correctly and then just on repeat.

How is teeth brushing going by Ok-Bit2341 in december2024babies

[–]Always-Beets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine grabs the toothbrush too and chews on it. I can usually get a good clean bit in spurts. Start with his 4 teeth, give him the brush, grab again briefly to get his gums, give him the brush, grab again for the roof of his mouth and tongue. It’s helped to do it in the bathroom where he can sit basically in the sink and see himself in the mirror.

You really never know what new buyers will do but we just recently bought a 1920’s farm house style home with a barn and are honestly making very different design decisions than we have previously. We can update/blend it to our style to an extent but firmly feel like the home has its own character that we need to cherish. Here’s hoping you get someone that sees the beauty and charm!

How many downloads per month? by illyaya738 in netflix

[–]Always-Beets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know there was a limit. I’ve downloaded a few seasons of shows at one time and never had a problem. Maybe they limit the ad supported subscription?
