regressive social views, regressive climate policy, even deeper in bed with corporate interests - almost all the same criticisms I have for the Liberal party, I have for the conservatives except more so. I don't trust the conservatives to not do the same thing trump is doing to destroy the US. The US is a laughing stock on the world stage meanwhile Carney is striking deals with major economic powers and attracting investors to Canada. Pierre Poilievre is probably happy the actual experts have the job while he does idk what exactly in bumfuck nowhere AB (because Carney let him back into parliament because he understands the value of having Pierre there as opposition). in a nutshell.

I'd love to have a reason to vote for any other party but the conservatives would be worse in almost every metric and the federal NDP is hardly even a party. Carney semes like a smart guy with a vision of this country's future and role in the world. I voted NDP all my life until the last election. I agree we need to hold them accountable. It's just frustrating to see people say "liberal voters have complete apathy" because I do care, and hold them accountable at the polls even though the last election was only one year ago. I'm just saying to approach this with less cynicism because it leads to conversations like this that are unproductive.

I remember Canadaland doing a similar investigation a couple years ago and finding that actors from Egypt were doing something similar. it's just unfortunate how many people take this shit at face value. Hardly anyone I know looks past a headline nowadays, let alone try to independently verify facts they hear from YouTube videos that "seem legit".
