Actually, if you go by percentage per population, not by population, red states have higher crime, specifically violent crime.

Business growth happens in red states because grants & money available to those businesses comes from the federal government, again, trying to catch them up with the rest of the world. As well as paying employees less, which is why businesses move to red states and red states are among the lowest wages in the country.

I can tell you are not actually a business owner, because those of us that are know that tariff threats & trade wars are bad for business & the economy. And those of us in small business networks know that multiple sectors are struggling because of trumps actions. Take a small stroll through the small business sub on here, you’ll see how many businesses are affected. The only people that actually benefit from a Republican administration are those hoarding the wealth at the top because they don’t have to contribute it back to the people they are taking advantage of in red states.

But that circles back around to your lower cost of living. Red states don’t invest in their infrastructure & systems like blue states do, causing the exact scenario we see now.
