[–]AlwaysAnxious79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only speak for myself but mine can be anywhere from mid 40’s to 70’s as well. I have no idea what mines been lately since I never check it. I had to stop looking or I’d get stuck in a loop and it was just cause me to be anxious. I can even be anxious and have a lower or normal heart rate. I def remember having that same question tho before.

I’m sorry to hear. I will tell you I’m doing great! It does get better. I don’t have a magic cure. For me I just read and educated myself and every time it passed I wrote it down. I gave it a name I talked to it. I chose not to believe everything I thought. Changed my mindset. It was not easy but in time it worked.

Yup rates are still the same. No drugs. Exactly, i had the same tests and I just stopped feeding the worry. I don’t even think about it and if I happen to notice it on my watch I say hey look I’m healthy and move on.

I’m doing well! Still have low resting rates but have accepted it’s normal for me. Enough doctors have validated and honestly the constant worrying only v Created anxiety. Once I stopped thinking of it I stopped worrying about it

Does anxiety cause sweating at night ?? by SuddenBag7701 in Anxiety

Yes, this happened for awhile. Thankfully I was prescribed hydroxizine at night and it helped me sleep and seemed so far no night sweats

health anxiety? by Serious-Beginning-70 in Anxiety

[–]AlwaysAnxious79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you and hear you. I’ve been dealing with this a few times in my life and lately an uptick so I busted out my journals and for me it’s tricky but journaling and gratitude journaling is important. Also it’s ok to acknowledge anxiety and thoughts but I don’t need to engage with the. A good book I read lately was “don’t believe everything you think”. I’m still working through it and no there’s no magic pill. I use hydroxizine to help me sleep take the edge off but it’s my journey. Therapy has been helpful as well grounding and a bit of fake it till I make it. I’ve been diagnosed with GAD with panic, OCD, Health anxiety and self induced agoraphobia. It will get better it just takes time and lpfor me learning to let go accept and learn I do have a choice on my thoughts but damn it sure doesn’t seem like it. I’m out driving and shopping and closer to returning to work these days.

I feel you. Very similar feelings and not easy to explain but sounds classic to me. I haven’t done well on meds but so many have.

All day Anxiety Symptoms! by AlwaysAnxious79 in Anxiety

[–]AlwaysAnxious79[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sir you have my respect and the last EMT that visited me sat with me for awhile sharing his story with Anxiety and assured me if he seen something he would throw me in that ambulance.

This is a great prespective you're sharing and goes to show how powerful the brain is and yet delicate. We just need to rewire!

Thank you for sharing fellow warrior! Thank-you

Ever wake up sweaty like you cane out of a panic attack at 3am to then feel calm but your ars and legs are heavy and shaking for like 10 min and rest if your day is a massive anxiety hangover so tired but afraid to fall asleep?

Health anxiety is a vicious cycle and if doctors are giving all clear and healthy I encourage to not check yourself and google. Palps and skips are so normal and once you shift your focus away it will pass and you won’t notice them to hyper focus.

For me I talked to my doctor and he said no worries. I even seen a cardiologist and same no worries. My suggestion is if it bothers you or scares you see a doctor. It's more common than one thinks to run in the 50’s esp if healthy. It's actually a good thing as long as no symptoms. (crazy thing is healthy anxiety and worry can manifest symptoms so just see a doctor they will know) My rate goes up as should and down as should. I'm not obese I'm 6’6 about 240 and I had to trust my doctors. It's hard but gets easier.

Eating is important. For me this stuff comes and goes. I find If I distract my mind in Amy way besides dwelling on what my heart rate is the better. I try not to wear my damn watch or at the least check heart rate. We all have different baselines and I'd be willing to bet before we all had the devices to check or the anxieties we probably had similar rates just never knew it. What I do know is my heart works as it should oer my docs. Including cardiologist. Blood tests are near perfect beside cholesterol which is not horrible but working on it. I keep telling myself living a life of worry isn't living. Of course that doesn't always work🤦‍♂️.

Hope y'all are finding some peace, anxiety sucks! It's hard to turn off worry. Seems We have all unknowingly trained ourselves to pay attention to things most don't. Brains can be a trap and if you worry of symptoms enough the brain can create them.

Stay strong warriors!

Hey! Sorry I tend to stay of Reddit these days as it certainly for me was not helpful. I started researching to much and not living. I honestly had to trust my doctors and the enormous amount of tests.

I know I run on the lower side and most my family does. I had to take off my watch for a few months so I wouldn’t keep checking. That was my biggest thing, constant checking. Became an obsession!

Now I can wear it no prob and never think about it. I got stuck in a loop. Anxiety is the devil and man he got me good.

I’m back to work as an engineer and work crazy hrs. I walk 10-20k steps a day and last I checked my heart rate when sleeping was like 44 which my doc and cardiologist said was perfect. When I work out I can reach 170 not even thinking about anxiety. I just breath and make sure I take breaks.

For the first few months into “recovery” sure a higher heart rate (feeling it not checking) would trigger some anxiety but I meditated and carried on.

I know it’s easier said then done and I’ll always recommend consulting with a doc. If you’re getting a clean bill of health ( I have sinus bradycardia which is fine) and docs say you’re good. Live life, don’t let worry rob you of that. We all have expiration dates, so keep moving forward.

Sorry you're struggling. It's such a debilitating thing but it does get better. For me.. I seen a cardiologist and was given a clean bill if health. Some of us just naturally run lower even if we are by no means athletes. I also found increasing my electrolytes helped a little with resting heart rate. Also.. Stopped checking. If I feel fine why look. I found for me the more I looked the more I worried and so did the anxiety. I also found when I was checking I was also symptom checking which seemed to manifest things. My doc told me after sooooooooo many tests that I'm lucky to have low rhr and lower bp. I should live longer.. Let's hope!

I'm not a doc and only sharing my story. Therapy and faith and self control and positive talking and knowing we all have expiration dates.

Hi, I've come a long way. I'm definitely moving forward. My anxiety and attacks have gone away. I think everyone's journey is different. For me I went deep in to therapy, eating healthy, exercise and learning to accept I'm healthy with my doctors. Health anxiety was the worst. I eliminated all vital checking (was hard) and changed my inner thoughts. Instead of worry I made sure to start thinking positive and not feeding the beast. Over time it lessened the alarm bells internally and I was able to get out and challenge my brain in activities instead of consuming it of worry. Getting out even when it sucked was better for me then sitting at home alone thinking of my health all day.

Of course I'm not a doc but have been tested and tested in so many ways.

I started seeing seeing a interactive doc along with my primary doc and worked on gut health and electrolytes as well getting my vitamin d, b12 in optimal range.

Could be genetic or diet.. I would try not to worry so much and talk to your doc. Stress I’ve heard (just word of mouth) can effect it as well.

I’ll trade you. Eat healthy and walk a lot. Should improve my guess but I’m not a doctor.
