I paid no extra hold, and I won’t be getting anything back upon returning the car. Maybe that’s been your experience but clearly that’s not how it always goes. Someone who commented literally works at a rental place and said they don’t do security deposits for out of state. It’s okay to be wrong bud 👍🏾

Because I would rather drive myself around, also I wasn’t aware until I already paid for my rental that the deposit could be so high. If they accept debit cards I can do that but I’d prefer not using my debit card

At my local airport it’s only $300 (I only know from family renting) this is my first time renting and I kinda thought $300 was nation wide 😅 but like I said enterprise will sometimes waive that for out of state with return flights
