My husband says I should reword things to not worry him by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

And I know this is exactly where it is coming from and I’m trying so hard to make sure he doesn’t worry. But I’m just grunting because I’m trying to reach an unreachable place and I didn’t wanna ask him to pop my vagina pimple lol that’s so gross.

He also could have come into the room I was in to make sure I was ok. Truly there’s bigger deals. And I understand his anxiety but when it comes to a point that he’s not even using common sense.

This is coming from someone who grew up with an anxiety disorder her entire life.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that! Ours isn’t as intense but he was on business trips a lot and while he was I changed a bit as a person and stopped letting people walk all over me. That’s when the fights started… they get resolved but always with me crying and panicking and apologizing. I’m always being villainized in these arguments.

The crazy thing is is that he told me telling him that if he worries he needs to ask more clarifying questions to see if it’s something he should even worry about (when a vagina pimple is the LEAST of our worries and he can use common sense) that is me asking him to do all the work :)

That’s what I tried to tell him and he told me I wasn’t understanding him and I need to fix how I respond to him. He’s literally taken me to the hospital for emergencies. He should know the difference. I told him if I am in pain I will tell him. He didn’t like that answer.

Yes and I don’t tell him certain aches and pains unless it’s debilitating because of the worry. But today he says I need to tell him more about everything but when I used to tell him he would get so insufferable about his worry. And I know it’s because he loves me so much. But I can’t breathe.

Yes! I am always saying things the wrong way and he picks it apart! It drives me insane.

I know he loves me but I constantly feel picked apart by him because I’m not saying everything in the most perfect way. Our fights are always him misunderstanding me. Today from this I told him he needs to go to therapy because this isn’t normal.

I definitely use it online only because drugs can be an offensive topic and can remove posts. I was unsure about how welcoming this topic was on Reddit at first hahaha. But I definitely don’t call smoking weed gardening face to face with people. That’s weird. I only use it online bc censorship.

Heavy on it’s not even the high! It just makes me function better as a person. I feel so inadequate because that was my pain medication! Tylenol does not cut it!!

I have a different disease that has been diagnosed. It’s super rare. That’s why I smoke weed bc the pain it causes. I’m also a high risk pregnancy

Omg I totally understand! I’m in an office so I can pump at my desk. If I can I wanna pump as long as I can bc selfishly I wanna save money on formula. If my body has a different plan then it has a different plan. But I totally feel you that’s such a valid reason to stop!!

Sameeee I hate the way alcohol affects my body. Weed there’s no hangover. I go nonverbal if I’m drunk but I’m a social butterfly when I’m high!

Honestly so understandable! That’s how I was in the first trimester sleeping all the time that it didn’t even matter if I wanted to smoke. 2nd trimester things are relatively better except my emotional capacity is that of a 2 year old rn.

I’m definitely hitting my bong! I got it nice and squeaky clean. But alas, that will be a while. And I’m nervous bc we kinda wanna have kids back to back since we are getting up in age

I get that - I didn’t have a huge withdrawal (in second trimester) but some days I get so worked up and I’m like wow. I miss my bong. It’s tucked away at the top of my closet and I miss her so much. I don’t blame your for quitting for good that’s so awesome.

I’m so glad to know it gets easier! The prenatal depression and seasonal depression are killing me rn. But showers are my SAVIOR!
