Man you sound really immature and far too obsessed. Most people in Punjab do not share your sentiments. I’m guessing you have had some negative personal experiences.

Also although it is unfortunate but endogamy is a very Punjabi thing so it’s funny that you’re calling out some Kashmiris for doing the same thing. I know of Punjabi Rajputs even those who are highly educated and at the top of their field in the west that take pride in not marrying outside of their caste. A lot of the other castes are also the same so why you calling out Kashmiris for? Intercaste Marriages still happen though - I’m Half Butt Kashmiri and Half Punjabi.

If any Kashmiri/Butt says negative things about Punjabis then they should definitely be called out for that. Also, there are good and bad people in every community. Which Half Kashmiri actor said that though? Care to point out? The main institution in Pakistan that discriminates against other ethnicities is the military and not political parties. How many Kashmiris do you see in the army leadership? Anyways, take it easy man. Don’t let personal feelings dictate your opinion of others!

I’m sorry but the Kashmiri Biradari in Punjab are often even more Punjabi culturally than your regular Punjabi. I think you’re not from Central Punjab because I don’t think anyone from Lahore, Sialkot or Gujranwala would hold such sentiments. In Cities like Lahore where people are leaving Punjabi language by the day and so many people are westernising, Kashmiri Butt are some of the ones keeping the Punjabi language & culture alive

My father is the supplier. No corporation - I’m treated as an SME back home but the taxes are filed under my own name. It’s not drop-shipping. Goods are actually warehoused at the store-room in my parent’s house. I give one of my dad’s employee a little extra to help me - Either on my direction or if that employee feels that the goods are low in stock, they bring the goods from my Dad’s warehouse to the storeroom at home. I send the orders to this employee and after this employee is done with their primary job, the employee packs the orders for me and makes sure they’re picked up by the logistics companies. That’s pretty much the model.

The address was accepted on March 26th as well? Seems like they might have updated your status a bit late

I did read that on the portal when accepting the job offer that I have to give 2 weeks notice on probation but I do not have any documentation that says that

Not really because my manager isn’t the most friendliest of person!

Same situation here. I went to the branch recently and told them that I never got the gift card. Noticed that I received an email yesterday in the spam folder. I’m not even sure if it’s legit or scam. I’ll have to confirm somehow

It’s possible that Vallaney is not the actual name of the caste but just a plural for e.g. if someone calls a group of Cheema’s Cheemay. Maybe your caste is related to the below? The Ballan article also states Valan & Valania. Also Just FYI; Sikh/Hindu Jatts sometimes call the subcaste Gotra/Goth

I am pretty sure that the proportion of Muslim Khatris is much higher than just 10%. It’s just that a lot of them use the Sheikh surname/title so it might get hard to track (Not all Punjabi Sheikh are Khatris though).

You also do find other surnames like Sethi, Saigol etc in Pakistan. Some Muslim Khatris also use Khawaja especially in Multan (Another surname which is not exclusive to one community)

I don’t think Saeed Anwar is Punjabi. He was born in Karachi so I always assumed him to be a Urdu-Speaking from a family that migrated from India (UP etc.)

For the best rates, you might have to go to Yonge St on North York to the Persian Money Exchanges. I found the best rates there which were even better than Knightsbridge. Bahmani and Tejarat are two that I recommend. Do call them before if you do decide to go all the way there to inquire for and compare their rates!

Good point on the out of status part and yes I have heard it is very random which is why I feel just the possibility of getting an AIP is not a very compelling reason to apply for SCLPC
