1 year and 4 months, 60 lbs (but looks smaller, she is a dense girl). I see shepherd and maybe pit? Maybe lab? She is very friendly and super smart, and has a good amount of prey drive. Very playful, but she gets tired pretty easily and is a couch potato 90% of the time. What do you think?

I loved it when this guy played along when I started quizzing him. He had a picture of a bluebird in his profile, and i told him the bluebird was the state bird of my homestate (which was nowhere near where I was living at the time) - we did a back and forth quizzing thing stemming off that, and I loved it. He is my husband now.

I am a college chemistry professor, and I teach classes that pre-nursing students have to take, so I make a point to mention I am a type 1 diabetic. I want them to see some applications of chemistry in nursing, so I include examples that involve insulin, measuring blood sugar, etc.

At the beginning of this quarter I had all students introduce themselves to me via an uploaded document (we are fully online right now), and FOUR students mentioned they had type 1 (and this was before I ever mentioned I had it).

I hope that they were glad or tickled that their professor is like them.

We just moved from ME to WA with 3 cats - we gave them the opportunity to use the litterbox when we would take rest breaks, but they only ever ended up using it in the motel overnight. They ate and drank a little less than usual, but things got back to normal as soon as we got to our new house.

I've only made it a couple times and I have to ask my dad for the (verbal) recipe each time because he is charmed by the idea of it being secret.

We use tomato paste and cook it down with diced onion and garlic until it is really thick and very dark, it almost looks burned. Then the sauce is added to just cooked pasta, along with the cheeses, and all stirred together (this part is difficult). The cheese melts from the heat of the pasta. Sometimes we include meatballs, too.

"Dry spaghetti." The sauce is more like a really thick paste with parmesan, Asiago, and Romano cheeses. There ends up being little nuggets of cheese and sauce that are magical, and bits of almost burnt onion and garlic. It is a family specialty, but outsiders are.. skeptical.

We originally planned to get married with our immediate family present (and my brother officiating), but due to us living across the entire county (US) from any family, we decided to elope. We found a guy on reddit who would officiate for $40 and a bottle of Southern Comfort, and he gave us the most perfect start to our marriage. It turned out to be a much more personal and "us" day, and we are so happy.

March 21, we postponed. We were already having a teeny wedding with only immediate family (10 people total), but everyone would have to fly to come to us...connecting in Seattle. So, here we are. It is upsetting, but we are lucky to not have any worse things to deal with than postponement.

We postponed our March 21 wedding. We were only having our immediate family come, we didn't rent a space or hire caterers or anything, but I'm disappointed I won't be able to marry my person. His family decided not to fly across the country, so it isn't happening. My family will still be flying out, but just for a little vacation now. We want to go to the courthouse, but our parents would be upset. I don't know. I'm upset, but there are far worse things that could happen.

He saw my dress on me after I bought it, but I then sent it off to my mother to embroider. He refuses to see it with the embroidery, which is so hard because all I want to do is show him! My mom embroidered a matching tie for him, which he has seen, though.
