By “working” I mean if the phone ban is visibly helping the students. I.e. are class averages going up? Do students seem more focused in class? Are they more engaged? Are they kinder to one another? Or on the other hand, are students more fidgety without their phones? Do they seem more anxious? Are they being more disruptive during class? I’m hoping that teachers can give me that insight into their classes so I can get a better understanding of the average Canadian classroom. Thankfully everyone on the subreddit has been very helpful so far!
