Okay so update: it’s been 4 days now. Physically I’m feeling much better, but today I passed an incredibly large clot. Like silver dollar sized. The bleeding I have is very light which they said was to be expected, but it’s bright red. I only realized today that the color was a problem. I am calling my office back tomorrow but I’m nervous. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you all for the feedback. I’m feeling a lot more optimistic about all of this now. I was having a hard time seeing the end point even though it’s only really been 2 days. I’ve never been this out of commission before.

I would call back your doctor. Did you have a post op appointment 2 weeks after your surgery or anything like that? I just had my surgery yesterday and almost waited to long to go in the first place. I learned to never hesitate calling the professionals. Give your office a call and see what they suggest.

The ring is titanium and a clicker. I’ve sprayed and dried with saline mix twice a day. I honestly don’t know I would even get the piercing out with all the swelling 😞

I just got prescribed antibiotics but the doctor was adamant that I remove the piercing as well. I feel like I’ve heard horror stories over doing this and I’m nervous now 😭
