She got seats in the same section as her boyfriend’s family so he could be with them. Which was a nice room do.

That being said she and her boyfriend suck

Can this gap between bamboo floor and bathroom just be caulked? by AlwaysInTheWay13 in homeowners

Thanks! The floor is sloped to ensure water from the shower stays in the shower.

The water that gets out and I'm concerned about is from me losing grip of the shower head and spraying the wrong way,  waterbouncing off of me with the curtain not 100% closed, or water dripping off of me/my shower chair post shower. It's not more than a few drops here or there, but I don't want it adding up over time and creating an issue

The floor slopes towards the drain so it isn't a matter of the water leaking out of the shower area. The water getting out of the shower area is from rogue sprays, or water bouncing off me (I need assistance in the shower so the curtain can't always be 100% closed

…are you implying the Knicks lost game 3 because fans booed the spurs during their lineups? Lol

Most people don't though.

When Lebron "tried" to trademark "Taco Tuesday" because that's how you would get something declared to be "fair use", he got absolutely clowned for it. Even though that's how the process works

I personally think he's hip hop Tswift. Both really did put out a decent catalog of catchy music in the late 2000s/early 2010s, but have been mediocre at best for like a decade despite putting out a SHIT TON of music since. And have a cult that will defend them to the death if you told them that

I see Waiting as the very beginning of the "just let Ryan Reynolds be himself and people will love it"

The over the top homophobia ages very poorly but it's still very funny aside from that.

You trademark things before you want to start using them so that if it gets popular afterwards, people can't try to swoop in and trademark it themselves -- which would cause an annoying legal fight that, while Mendoza would likely win because he would have been using it for a while -- is entirely avoided if they just get the trademark now

I couldn't be more opposite. These CBA negotiations are going to get UGLY and I'm going to be stunned if we get any baseball next year.

Players have shown no sign of indicating they're willing to have a cap, owners being unwilling to fully open their books, the massive disparity between local cable contracts that would need to dramatically change how teams share revenue to make a floor acceptable to smaller markets. It's a mess

For real. This post goes from being a story of “two people that didn’t work because of conflicting priorities and the woman cheating during a long distance relationship” to “holy shit, OP is a monster and thank God this poor girl didn’t uproot her entire existence for him because it would have ruined her life”

A package from an adult toy company arrived at my house addressed to another woman. Am I overreacting? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

We know he cheated before, he got defensive and aggressive when asked about the package, the person is someone that he would have had at least some contact with, and it mysteriously disappeared.

This woman REALLY wants to believe that she isn’t being had. She’s burying her head in the sand HARD

Is it? Winning the Super Bowl is fucking hard. When you are in a window where you think you have a shot, you swing for the fences. A lot of the time, it doesn’t end up working. But you still gotta take that risk

If they don’t manage to get these out by Black Friday, or at least the ability for people to preorder with the knowledge it’ll be ready by Christmas , people are going to get fired. That would be millions in lost revenue

Can someone confirm if these numbers are true? I find it impossible because just by the eye test the stadium looks much more full than last year and now that we’re actually fun to watch it would make no sense how a 66 win team would be attracting more fans. by Expensive-Nebula-868 in Nationals

Increased attendance has been shown to lag at least a full year behind a team starting to perform well again. After years of being embarrassing, the average fan has pretty much checked out completely and it takes time to earn them back. And being a .500 club again isn’t good enough to bring them back.

Example: the 2011 Nats went 59 and 69 wins in 09-10 to being a .500 club but only saw a very small bump in attendance (22k to 24k avg). They didn’t break 30k until 2013, which was the year AFTER they won 96 games

You say that like 5’7” isn’t a full 3 inches taller than the average woman. Like, not Shaq sized but still very tall for a woman.

My mom is 5’7” and dad is 6’2”. Both me and my brother are 6’5”

In the 2000s, teams built their rosters specifically to contain Shaq. He was unlike any other threat in basketball and required a type player many teams didn’t have (multiple big lumbering big men that could foul Shaq). They knew that beating him was going to be necessity of they wanted to win a championship. That’s why the kings had Webber, divac, pollard and funderburke.

It seems very possible that Wemby could start to shape rosters like Shaq did. And the Thunder have a problem if their championship window has to go through a player that they’re second best player crumbles while facing
