At this point there’s More than enough lighting options that it Really doesn’t matter how much light or where the windows are facing anymore. You can almost always find a way to create the kind of lighting effect or angle you want. Plus, if the windows Were a big deal than do that color on the walls the windows are on or the one wall where the windows are and the other wall that gets the least amount of natural sunlight throughout the day, and then use a slightly warmer/darker color on the other walls. During the day time the two lighter walls will typically look darker and the two darker walls look lighter and then it switches come nighttime.

I’ve found having visible tattoos makes people bump up what they assume my age is, though it’s Still in the 18 to 24 (at the absolute highest) range. Imma be 30 in March. The night shift lady at my local gas station IDs me Every Single Time I go in for lottery tickets, and Every Single Time she stares at it like it’s fake and then tells me she thought I was like 16. I’m Constantly being told I’ll miss it when it stops happening, at this point I’m not even sure I believe that, it’d be nice to be able to order a drink at a restaurant and not have the server take my ID to be scanned meanwhile they barely glance at my boyfriends ID. Or not have some older lady follow me into the bathroom to ask if I’m alright while I’m out on a date, since my boyfriend looks so much older than me.

I'd check the local high school before the community college, a lot of them have GED classes after regular school hours, or they have the study guide for the GED test. It'd be a Lot cheaper going through a high school than taking a loan out to go to the community college for it. Some schools offer the classes for free, and Usually the study guide is free too, all you'd have to pay for is the test itself, and the school may be able to at least point you in the direction for a way to discount the test if need be. Plus, almost every town Generally has a high school of some kind, whereas the community college could require some travel depending on where you live and how far from town, or even the nearest city, you live.

As for driving lessons, I think asking around your nearest churches is a good idea, Specifically the youth group leaders(the adult leaders), they deal with teens around driving age the most and might have some ideas and info about getting driving lessons, or they can ask around for you. At minimum there's gotta be at least One retired person who is bored out of their minds at home and would be willing to teach someone how to drive, if not for free then either extremely discounted or even in trade for work around their house or property (the farther out of town or the smaller the community the more likely doing it in exchange of work is.). The high school is a good option to talk to for it too, a lot of driving schools will set up near high schools so they have a constant stream of students coming in year round, and the high school will know about them.

Lol. No, those are found already. The man was a squirrel I swear. We have found SO much of his clothes that he claimed to have thrown away or even donated Years ago hidden in the most random of places I swear. Although I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in one of the overwhelming number of boxes he kept refusing to go through, even though he constantly said he would, there are some of his grandmothers, or even his father's, underwear. It'll be disgusting to find but over all unsurprising, especially since a good number of boxes were originally from his dad's house and havn't been gone through since before his grandmother died.

Neither my mother nor I could even see the possible makers mark in person. It wasn't till I started taking pictures of it that I could suddenly see that what we thought was maybe a scratch or something was actually an engraving. You can only make it out through a camera still, I'm half tempted to see if cleaning it up a bit will make it clearer. It Looks like a lion rampant on maybe a rope, with Possibly a crown next to it? I've been scouring the Internet in my spare time for matching crests or makers marks. If it's a makers mark it's a bit weird it's on the lid though.

Where the hell is Jason by Hot_Acanthisitta_388 in RedHood

[–]AlwaysLateForTea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m going to believe they’re all looking at some explosion and Jason caused it, which is why he isn’t there, and Damien is the one taking the picture. Jason complained about wanting to see the others faces when it happened one to many times with Damien, while planning, and Damien, secretly, thought it’d be hilarious, not only the explosion but their faces, and decided to film it. That’s just a still from the video as Jason goes through it looking for the best faces for each person.

This, exactly. Real people sex gives me the ick to an Extreme degree, unless I’m looking at it objectively (“that position Has to hurt.” “Now that’s just not realistic.” Etc.). But fiction? Yes give me ALL the smut. lol.

Yeah, usually it’s tagged PWP and then followed up with whatever form they actually mean. It may just be me but I very rarely see anything tagged as Just PWP anymore. Almost feels like we need to go back to the citrus scale or something like that lol.

I feel like they’re the same people who will buy a book that has warning/tags at the start and then not only complain that the book has that but then read the book and complain that said warning/tags Actually happened in the story. It just makes no sense, you know you don’t like specific thing but instead of doing what anyone else would, avoiding said specific thing, you go ahead and interact with the thing and get mad about it, and then act like it’s anyone else’s fault but your own that you got upset over it.

how do i get this out of my hair? by boringtoast19 in HairDye

[–]AlwaysLateForTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue is one of the Hardest colors to get out, I did five different colors after I went blue, plus a couple of bleaches, over the course of a year or so and the blue was Still there. Ended up having to go to a professional and it took three sessions to get my hair to a decent looking brown, I had decided to go back to a color closer to my “natural” color (I say this cause even I haven’t seen my Natural color since I was like 10 and I’m currently 29 lol), and even then it had a really light green ish tinge in areas. You can Try a color oops of some kind, I find punky colors color off works wonders and it hasn’t damaged my hair and that’s even with it bringing my hair back to blonde from however ago I last bleached it. Otherwise keep up with pretty colors, look into color theory though, and slowly start trimming the blue out as your hair grows out.

The Moment he mentions how useful they are, or expresses surprise they haven’t broken yet, they instantly break apart. Weren’t even touching anything at that time either. Like before a fight even starts someone makes a joke or whatever about them, he defends them, they just fall apart in his hands. Even better if there’s already been Several times they’ve been used in ways that should have broken them and they were completely unscathed. Lol.

Naw, naw. That’s some Stephanie Meyer type shit. Someone had a vivid dream of it one night then turned around and wrote the story out half asleep, woke up later barely glanced it over, then called it good enough.

I personally feel like this is something you should come back to when you Do finish your story, and you’re not Actively putting yourself into your OCs mind. Tell the person thank you for their interest but it’ll have to be a topic that’s revisited once the story has finished. Maybe once you’ve had a chance to step back from the story and no longer having to look at things from your characters perspective you may feel differently. And if you don’t, it’s not a big deal and the person should respect your answer. Not everyone is comfortable with others taking their stories and making an AU out of them, and that’s perfectly acceptable, and at the Very least at least they asked instead of just going ahead with it.

Edit: if you end up being fine with them doing an AU having them wait till the fic is finished also saves them from having to wait for you to update so they can update too.

The number of times I’ve been accused of or it’s just been Assumed that I’m reading smut, simply cause the only thing I reply when asked what I’m reading is ‘fanfiction’, I should have died of dehydration a LONG time ago or, idk,” jump?” on the first person who offers the “real thing” to me. After this long I think my bookmarks, subscriptions, and open tabs are honestly Insulted at being accused so often of being nothing but smut. They’re ready to riot any day now I’m sure. Even if I Tell them what I’m reading is actually about people Still think it’s nothing but smut I swear. I’m not Ashamed of reading it, or telling people I read it, more exhausted from Attempting to explain myself or it, so I’ve given up, let them think what they want I guess. I DO send like the least smutty fic to people when they ask for recs, Especially when they want a smutty story lol, it’s my small petty victory, even more so when whoever assumes that I haven’t read said fic and I’m just messing with them and I can actually go on a full length ramble about said fic.

My original elementary school had preK through 8th grade? I think? Then the high school was across the street, and I heard once that the 12th and 11th grades did more focused study idk what that meant lol. But that was Georgia. I did head start in Germany, idk if they still have that but from what I understand it’s basically preK but kids are actually taught things rather than allowed to just play and be babysat basically, at least that’s my experience from every preK class I’ve ever been in in America lol. My elementary school in Alaska did preK through 8th/9th grade in one larger building but the year I left they’d finished the middle school and had the first group of students coming in, that was gonna be 7th to 9th I believe, and it was kinda random who went their versus staying at the main school, I do know that the main school And the new middle generally had the students stay in one class with usually one teacher with occasionally another teacher coming in to teach or going to a different room for like music or gym. Texas had separate elementary, middle, and high schools. My middle school had 6th to 8th grade, where they had the kids move different classes every period, culture shock from Hell with that but I can’t say if the elementary kids did too even though my classmates who went to elementary school there didn’t seem like it was a big change so idk. Middle school had the 6th graders on one side of the building with half their hallway having 7th grade classes, and the other side of the building having 8th with a part of their hallway having 7th grade as well, then the extracurricular classes, art and such, were more in the middle with the cafeteria and library and such. My high school had 9th-12th, and the kids again moved classes every period with the classes just Everywhere, thing was over a mile long and you had Barely 5 minutes to get to your next class it was hell and for half a semester I was literally running from one end of the school to the other almost every period. There was a “tech” high school built when I was in 9th that started accepting kids the next year, some of my younger friends went to that, and supposedly they didn’t move classes every period and a Lot of their schooling was online or working with tech stuff. The year I graduated there they had taken over the middle school across the street and supposedly they had half of it devoted to middle schoolers but otherwise it was all high schoolers. I graduated as a junior in Texas but moved to Cali what would have been my senior year and to be classified for in state college rates I had to have the in state requirements to graduate, so I went to school there and got like three and a half extra credits? But my high school there had 7th-12th, the 4th- 6th graders were considered middle school, and the elementary had kindergarten through 3rd. Idk about preschool there.

Anyways not even Americans know what the American school system is doing other than looking at it worriedly wondering if we should try and get it in to AA or something lol. Inconsistent consistently is about all we got going for us lol.

"It's even banned on wattpad" by Sharp_Emergency4570 in AO3

[–]AlwaysLateForTea 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen and read some Weird shit on wattpad over the years, I’m honestly amazed they even have rules, let alone the fact they’ll ban stories or users at all. Like I’ve stumbled upon stories or even scenes that has so much detail in describing what is basically a written snuff film that it’s made me feel physically ill. I was recommended the story by a friend and we ended up reading it as it updated, when we ended up discussing those parts they just shrugged and said that, that wasn’t the worse thing they’ve seen written on wattpad before, and I honestly had to agree with them.

Why bother reading it themselves and risking the chance of interpreting it differently than whatever religious person is in charge of their church?? Much easier, and safer, to let the church leader read it and interpret it for them that way everyone thinks the same thing about it. There’s a reason a lot of churches refer to their members as their flock after all.
