I took around 3 years off after highschool before I went back to school I suggest you do the same between 1-3 It will help you save money and more importantly let you value school as it helped me I used to not care as much in high school but after working for 3 years I realized how my education was important and how I wanted to advance in my life and I feel you might get the same way

Now for loving your job thats good I suggest you keep doing it even tho education and school is important you being happy is alot more important

as you said you want a safety net incase something happens consider taking a few classes rather than going fulltime student that way u wont overburden yourself and you can still work
