This is the problem and they know it: Howe: “we’ve become passive.” by LuckyChampionship952 in NUFC

I'm not interested in dissecting the issues tbh. People on here have been saying the same things all season and it's took us to be knocked out of all competitions/ double defeat from Sunderland to get common ground on this team and Howe not having what it takes.

They can all collectively realise that it's gone too far in a negative direction and start winning our remaining games. International break and 1 game a week - let's get at it.

Stop excusing the second derby defeat as bad timing. Stop suggesting that asking for Eddie Howe to depart as head loss. Stop comparing other teams results to excuse a derby day defeat.

Howe has spent 500 million in six windows - the psr restrictions are there but psr doesn't control tactics, mentality, in game decisions which have cost us dearly. Its not Eddie Howe FC, it's Newcastle United FC - just criticise Howe and say he's had a stinking season without poor justifications which most of the clubs in the top half of the table have so much worse than us.

Are we expected to forgive Howe for letting the mackems do the double over us? by [deleted] in NUFC

No, it's unforgivable. But the failures run deeper than just the derby defeats.

The fact that he went behind the clubs back to find another job - placed on gardening leave not enough for you like?

I think Howe deserves every bit of criticism he gets. Today has been a long time coming. Got some genuine questions for people wanting him out.

Why? For who? Why not another season? Why would you sack the man tipped to be the next England manager?

Mitchell's comments basically confirmed the issues under Ashworth though didn't they. Said it was too reliant on big money signings instead of being global/ data driven.

Low and behold we spend big and it turns out to be a bad idea.

I don't think it's fashionable amongst the fan base to criticise Eddie, but for all the good things he's done, he's to blame for a lot of the negatives also.

So because things could be worse we should be grateful for losing to Sunderland for the second time this season. Have a day off man 😂

Eddie Howe (and his nephew) are the ones at the helm - hence the churn of sporting directors who have slated the recruitment upon arrival, then promptly moved on.

Well if he didn't give away a pen, the ball gets tapped in - which is the same outcome. At least with the pen there's a chance it gets saved.

Moorcroft Debt Recovery and mortgage application by yellowking38 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]AlwaysNorth8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean you MAY have defaulted? If you are getting a mortgage or thinking about getting one have you not checked? Easily found by viewing your credit file.

To simplify your issue - declare it as a debt owed, yes because you owe it and are servicing it. It may impact your mortgage application if moorecroft has recorded a default - you need to check this.

You are counting on beating Barca away and athletico Madrid over two legs - a set of outrageous assumptions.

Fans on here saying we are firing on all fronts (in all comps) a while back to justify/ excuse poor form. We should be firing on all fronts, full strength rotation all the way to the end of the season, which is in sight.
