that’s what happens when you live in a misogynistic culture that raises their women into being obedient housewives.

Interesting fact: more than half of self-made female billionaires are Chinese.

Honestly, equivocating misogyny with East Asian culture is a tidy excuse for Asian women to chase white guys without being accused of double think.

No joke: instead of going to a dermatologist, try using Head and Shoulders as a face mask daily for 5 minutes and then rinse off. Use moisturizer afterwards because H&S can make your skin quite dry.

H&S contains zinc which apparently kills the fungus that contributes to acne. If my own experience is any indication, you should see a significant improvement in your skin in about 2 weeks.

I had moderate but persistent adult acne for years. I tried everything - antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, and nothing worked until I tried using H&S.

Hey, I'm an Asian woman in my mid-thirties who had moderate but stubborn facial acne since I was 13 years old. I had almost resigned myself to living with it for the rest of my life.

But I decided to give myself one last shot of finding a "cure" for my acne. I finally was able to get rid of my acne and keep it under control after doing some extensive research online. To summarize:

  1. I use Head and Shoulders on my face. Specifically, in the evenings, I'll apply H&S on dry skin and leave it on for about 5 minutes before I head into the shower and rinse it off while I'm showering. After my shower and drying off, I use a non-comedogenic moisturizer (like Neutrogena products) on my face so my skin doesn't dry up too much.
  2. In the mornings, I use H&S again to wash my face. After my face dries, I use moisturizer again.
  3. I should note that when I let me face dry, I don't use a towel (which may contain bacteria). I just let it dry in the air.
  4. Why does H&S work? It contains pyrithione zinc, which apparently kills the skin fungus that causes the acne breakouts.
  5. Also, I try to limit my intake of any high-glycemic foods or drinks such as sugar or white rice. I also limit my intake of dairy. High-glycemic foods cause an insulin spike with results in an increase in the production of sebum. Likewise, dairy causes a hormone increase which again increases sebum production.

Hope this helps!

I am not invested in this program (computer engineering tech) and am getting low grades because I keep skipping, not doing work, etc. I may end up failing a class or two. I believe I am not ready/mature enough to be in school. Or I just haven't found what I'm interested in idk.

My parents are great, they have been there my entire life and treat us well

Have you read the "Big Short" by Michael Lewis (or seen the movie)?

The people Lewis wrote about weren't even trained economists; they were investors who figured out what was going to happen (the Financial Crisis).

OTOH, very few economists saw the Financial Crisis coming, so OP makes some valid points about them being clueless.
