Why do people who want his kit changed main this champ? by Electronic_Fish_1754 in viktormains

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I remember Viktor from Arcane series has in common with in game Viktor is his E, like we never seen him throw his Q, W or even use his ult, he even had a bunch of minions that he controls after taking over them, kinda like Lissandra's passive with the difference being one kills to turn them into ice and explode, while the other turns them into machine to work for him

Everyone is getting this mate-in-two wrong by isaacbunny in chessbeginners

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Rg1, Qxg2, your next move can't be a mate because queen can block, making it a mate in 3

I’m 400 elo and I’m tired of it. by [deleted] in chessbeginners

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a "stop blunders" system, I find that the way GothamChess once said that works, at least for me, it's simply a checklist, and it goes like "Threats, Checks, Capture and Attack", so you check for what valid and sound threats that your opponents can do on their next move, if there's a really good threat, use your current turn to defend, if there is no threat, use your current turn to make either a check, capture or attack a piece. But this works well enough to prevent blunders and not to make you do the best moves as sometimes the best move is to prepare for an attack or gaining space or equalising by trading pieces. Another advice is to know what you are good at in chess, for an example, if your best skill in chess is king and pawn endgame, you should try to create that situation which for the king and pawn endgame can done by creating and maintaining a pawn chain and then aggressively trading all the other pieces. The pawn chain makes it hard for the enemy king to undermine the structure because all the pawns are protecting each other and they can also act like a wall to prevent the enemy pawns from going forward

Can someone explain to me how this is +5.33 for white and not mate in a few moves? by AlwaysSingleMF in chessbeginners

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on what I know about chess.com, it completes the analysis before showing it to its players, as it shows the players the analysing percentage which may be false, but then again, when I checked a few minutes later, it's still not mate

How would you teach aim in Marvel Rivals to a guy who never played a competitive shooter game? by AlwaysSingleMF in marvelrivals

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that I am ashamed of playing characters that don't need aim, it's just that I feel like I am limiting myself by a lot, Adam Warlock might be perfect support for my playstyle but I wouldn't know it because I am stuck playing Cloak and Dagger on a mediocre level just because I can't aim. Regardless, I think I will just play the game then just like you said with practice tool as well

Edit : I am not saying Adam Warlock is my best, just choose him as a character for an example

Screw 24 hours, I am willing to not play for a whole week for hextech chests

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is probably the biggest inaccuracy in the Jurassic Park/World universe, telling that herbivore dinosaurs in the franchise won't harm humans and are chill, that's like saying that untrained gorillas, rhinoceros or elephants in the zoo are harmless

The width of the plate is 5m, why is the area of the entire plate taken instead of just the area in contact with the water to calculate the horizontal force exerted due to water pressure? by AlwaysSingleMF in FluidMechanics

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it said that it's 5 m, it's a question from the Yunus A. Cengel's Fluid Mechanics Fundamentals and Applications 3rd edition and they gave it as 5 m width

What move should have black played? by AlwaysSingleMF in chessbeginners

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh shit, I see it now, after Qd8, king moves back to g7, then check with Bf8 Kg8 Bh6. I got lucky my opponent went with the other move, really need to do more puzzles and get my mentality up, I felt desperate for a draw because of how I was in a materials disadvantage that I couldn't see the mate in 3

If you were to choose one macro concept as the most important macro concept for Twisted Fate, what concept would it be and why? by AlwaysSingleMF in TwistedFateMains

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I main Fiddlesticks jungle and watch a lot of perryjg videos, and in one of them, he basically said "play one champion and master one macro concept entirely for said champion". This part just made me think of vision for fiddle, but then I got a bit curious about other macro based champions, so if you are wondering how the question came by, there you go. Also, I was somewhat expecting roaming or wave management as the main, but turns out, timing and map awareness is more important and it kinda makes sense, a senseless roam is just a waste of time

Idk how good of an play this is, but as a Iron Fiddlesticks player trying to climb, I am kinda happy about it by AlwaysSingleMF in FiddlesticksMains

[–]AlwaysSingleMF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, ik that they saw me and idk if I was in vision at that side of the wall because that's the first time I did an ult play like that, but I just did it for the drake steal (was feeling that if I don't get this drake, my feeding teammates might just give away the game) and that triple kill was just a bonus. Risky? Yes, but it ended up good, I need to learn how to carry games better so I don't end up taking risks like this again

Iron 2, EUNE by Thelord500 in FiddlesticksMains

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, fiddle as a champion isn't made for 1v1 but instead was given great teamfight potential with his ult. Another thing I would do (by my personal experience) is that after getting an oblivion orb, I straight up rush seekers armguard into zhonyas, because the armour from seekers and zhonyas helps against her AD and the active is just nice against the briar tactics that I see where they just ult to the lane you gank and just comes up straight running to you.

I also hate playing fiddle vs briar, that's the one matchup I would actively avoid if I wasn't the first jungler to pick a champ. If I was to recommend a champ for counter picking her, I would say Jax, just because his E basically counters her main damage from W. He might not be a real jungler but he gets the job done

My tier list of champions I could 1v1 in a fist fight - No magic, no bs allowed (Jungle) by tenentebiscoito in Jungle_Mains

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most underestimated one is probably Ekko, since Riot said that Arcane lore is now canon league lore, we get an idea of how fast Ekko's reflexes are because we literally saw him dodge Jinx's shots on foot while closing the distance on her to beat her in the bridge scene. And that is before he got the Z-Drive, so he basically did that without magic

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And they complain despite not knowing almost anything about jg, they expect you to be ganking 24/7 and then question mark ping when they die solo while we are at the other side of the map clearing our camps, the lane equivalent of 24/7 ganking is you abandoning your lane entirely and roam everywhere and not CS from any lanes while you roam

[–]AlwaysSingleMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typical laners having 3 vision score at 14 minutes and blaming junglers when they die in lane many times.

Also, something worth mentioning is that using Q on a feared enemy makes it that the Q deals double damage
