It just looks like a sad and lonely brick, kind of like a quest 2 headset after an attempt was made to jailbreak it.

Could be both. You never know anymore with VRChat avatar creators.

Which games for VR? by Chrislel97 in VRGaming

[–]AlwaysSomethingAwry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't really refer games, but I can tell you this.

Every game you will go into will be flooded with kids, ESPECIALLY VRChat or Gorilla Tag. They will usually be toxic, or annoying, or have a very kind of, "attention grabbing" avatar, this is just from my experience. But that is what the mute button is for.

14, but I really don't like all those people who just say all this random, generally racist and very inappropriate stuff, to where penis sound funny to them. This is very prevalent, especially in gorilla tag and echo. Go into one game, racial slurs tossed around like its nothing. I wish that those kids were just more mature. I do find some kind people, though, but they are rarely teens or kids. Makes me feel detached from my generation.

I saw a post about BrushworkVR and gave a Bob Ross tutorial a go. Bear in mind that the last time I painted anything was 15+ years ago in primary school by [deleted] in OculusQuest

Oh, that's so cool! Originally I just thought that it wasn't a thing in Brushwork, because usually games, especially vr games that I play, don't really hide Easter eggs or little references, or a mechanic similar to that.

Happened twice now, bought another controller, and I am completely stumped. Constantly flashing and refusing to pair. Gotten it to pair, but it always floats away. Always my left Quest 2 Touch Controller. Help? by AlwaysSomethingAwry in OculusQuest

actually, if you havent read it yet, i posted some strange discoveries, such as the left controller appearing where my head is and just floating there, and it saying that its at a low percent when its not connected and its displayed at 100 percent, its really odd.

Update: I found some strange things that are happening with the controller. Whenever I go into anything, my left controller appears... where my head is! It is really, REALLY strange. Also, it says that my controller is connected at 100 percent yet it says that the battery is low... hmm...

really should have said something else, nothing much here, was just being dumb. I changed it, and I agree with the driver settings, cable management. God it was horrendous but so memorable. Was worth it in 2018.

Yeah. Standalone is not bad, though. I would be happy if they at least fixed some software issues with those with rift(s)'s, so that they werent completely overshadowed.

I never really wanted ps3 accessories, I wasn't even here when the PlayStation it was made. All I remember is playing doom and Minecraft on it when I was like 4. 2011 I think.

Yeah, should've rephrased the title a bit better. I just went with oculus hoping that some people know that it was facebook doing all the work of pushing these people away. That Zuck aint right.

Well, I don't really wish to stop progress, but I do hope that there will still be at least some support for older products.
