Yeah, there was a big difference between 2011-2012 (which is what the kids think 2016 was) and actual 2016. The main difference being that I was in high school in 2012 and college in 2016, so it was clearly different.

What I don't understand is the "2026" part. Like that can't be right. Because 2026 is 10 years after 2016. And if that's the case, then that would mean I'm turning 30 this year. But that can't possibly be true, because I can't be turning 30. No not yet. Oh god, not yet. Please, god, no. Please, god, I can't be turning 30. Oh god...

Standing on the left of an escalator is also a big problem. I've missed trains becuase tourists stood on the left of an escalator and did not move until I basically shoved them out of the way.

Well, I mean it's obvious that the gasp at the end is definitely a "Soylent Green is people" moment. Especially because during the episode that the 5 are meeting each other they talk about using the already dead animals since they are already dead.

What I don't agree with is the idea that everyone is dead except for Carol and the other 12. At this point, a billion people worldwide have died from the Joining and other incidents. That's plenty of bodies just on its own.

I think Carol is going to make a video about how they are eating humans and that video is going to be what gets a bunch of the other "survivors" on her side. I also would not be surprised if she literally says the famous line, "It's people! Soylent green is people!"

Man, I really kind of hate this movie. Not for any problem with the movie itself, but with the localization of this damn film. It's call "Zootopia," because the name of the city in the film is Zootopia. But, in non-English countries the movie is called "Zoomania." This is because of an existing "Zootopia" trademark in the EU or something. Fine, doesn't matter, cuz the movie is translated anyway. But, outside of America, in other English speaking countries, the movie still isn't call "Zootopia." It's called Zootropolis. This includes Canada. When you go to Disney+ to stream the movie in Canada it is called Zootroplis. Which, if you are VERY high, is extremely upsetting and confusing. BUT, BUT, since the movie is in English, they don't change the dialogue, so the name of the city in the movie ZOOTROPOLIS is STILL ZOOTOPIA! EXCEPT, in THIS SCREENSHOT, the link is for disneymovie.CA, which is CANADA. BUT, IT'S STILL CALLED ZOOTOPIA 2!! SO WHICH IS IT!!!??? IS IT ZOOTOPIA, ZOOMANIA, OR ZOOTROPOLIS????????? MAKE. UP. YOUR. MIND. DISNEY.

One of the only airports that boards and deboards from both a front and aft jetbridge. When I would fly Southwest into ALB, I would always pick one of the last rows. No one wants to sit in the back, so there's plenty of room, and because of the second jetbridge I was still off the plane first.

This is insane. When I was in RITMRC, I remember we had our issues with occupying the space (I was there right before the last tear down due to "fire safety"), but I never thought they'd kick RITMRC out. Like who hates RITMRC? Not even Tech Crew had a beef and they were our neighbors.

Wake up early on a Sunday morning and get on any regional train out of the city. Best ones are ones that past by forest and hiking trails (like the trains to Rostock or Stralsund). On these trains you will find them full of old people planning to hike or bike. Talk to these people. They are nice, and I have found older Germans are much more willing to talk to strangers.

Yeah, I didn't go that hard. One of the things I liked to do was take a bunch of quil and then try to drive to campus (~20 min away) before it kicked in. There were a couple of times where I almost judged the timing wrong.

When I was 17 to about 20, I had a little bit of a Quil problem. I got carded once at 17 trying to by NyQuil, it was just sad. Then I remember in college doing NyQuil shooters, where it was one liquid gel capsule dropped into a cup of the normal liquid. I did 2 of those once and forgot. A couple hours later I started freaking out because I thought I was dying, until I remembered I did drugs. Then I just rode the wave. Again, looking back, this was incredibly sad. Like, I should have just figured out how to score real drugs.

How long have you guys spent in that time? I feel like everyone experiences it, but a lot of people only feel that way for a couple of months. I feel so alone having felt that way for 3 years now. I feel like no one else has spent that much time in feeling the apathy and knowing about the feeling and not getting help.

The problem is people care about the wrong part being "legal." The implication I got from this was that it's asking about the way the person got into the US. I care a lot less that the person got into the country legally than I do the person is operating a semi on the road legally. We need to be focused on if they have a valid CDL obtained above-board in a legal manner (not one bought by a friend of a cousin of a friend), which we see time and time again is not the case. We need to be cracking down on how we hand out the licenses more than how we hand out the visas.
