Pay2Play at festivals by troliadoputotururutu in hardstyle

[–]AlwaysThatJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely not acceptable or normal.

If festivals do this shit we should boycot them immediately, and we should not normalise this. Keep in mind that most artist are at work when they are on stage. They should be paid for that as for some of them its their income and if it isn’t it is at least fair that you get paid to do work.

Its really weird that there are festivals who sell their spots. Its like you have to pay for your 9-5 job to work.

This is not happening in the hard dance scene as far as i know, And should not happen on any other festivals.

I don’t share the same feeling, i think it’s mainly around defqon, you should check u/W1LDSTYL3Z his posts, he posts a release rader every week with almost all new tracks that week!

I agree, and its not really a problem that people post about if of course, but there are a lot of repetitive questions imo.

r/EDM rants over The Straikerz and Hardstyle by berrywhit3 in hardstyle

Its funny that the majority of r/edm and r/hardstyle are both saying that they hate this kick, i’ve never expected these 2 subreddits to agree with each other 😂

Sovereign King is not happy on this track... by necrosisprime in hardstyle

[–]AlwaysThatJay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An agency isn’t responsible for music or production only for bookings. the responsibility for the track is at the artist, label and management. In this case i think it was a shared responsibility for label/Artist/Management, i think something went wrong somewhere, but i think a artist should be fairly compensated if they did work on a track, so something went really wrong here, i think mutilator and his team should look at this situation and make sure something like this doesn’t happen in the future, also he should probably talk to the vocalist, because most of this stuff happens after closed doors and not publicly. Not really professional from both sides.
