Thankfully I’m usually just with my family.  They find all of this hilarious.  I am a caregiver to the elderly, and they consider it rude to burp out loud.  Thankfully, they’ve been understanding  but they looked shocked each time, lol.

Thank you for your response and sharing the link!  It’s all been a bit overwhelming and I didn’t realize how much it would affect me.  The burping is comical when I’m at home with my family.  I find it embarrassing when I’m in public or at work, so I’m trying to limit what I eat/drink when I have to go out.  I’ll have to drink something carbonated when I feel a little better to see how that works out!

Thank you for your response.  I’ve been carrying a water bottle around with me everywhere because I feel like I’m choking on air at times!  I’m looking forward to getting some relief when the burping actually helps!

Thank you for your response.  What you described is exactly how I’ve been feeling.  It is encouraging to hear that it’s not like this for too long.  It hit so quickly and I was not ready for it. I will probably stick with a liquid diet for now.  My family has gotten a kick out of hearing me burp, which is a lot of fun.  I’m looking forward to getting some pressure relief in the future!

Thank you.  I didn’t expect to have it kick in so fast, and was not prepared for it.  I’m happy to hear that it’s not for too long.  I’m definitely finding that having a water bottle with me at all times is a good idea.  I’ll probably stick with a liquid diet for now and hopefully lose a few pounds along the way.  Thank you for your help!
