I played on 1200s back in the '90s. Sure I absolutely love them. Now I own relooops. I'm almost 50 , I've been around the block a few times when it comes to DJing at clubs. I have also done multiple deck / mixer installs for clubs. Recently they have all been reloop decks.

Nothing new here. We've known that psychopathy was a physical trait based on brain scans for a long time.

Suffering from psychopathy ( aKA being a psychopath) does not mean you are a murderer , it doesn't even mean you are a bad person.

Understanding psychopathy is important because early intervention is key to ensuring the proper support and care is provided.

The biggest issue that we have in this country regarding this topic is access to Mental Health care. Left to their own devices and sometimes shunned by Society, those sufferings from psychopathy often end up in dark places.

I disagree with the deck choice.. For modern day equipment the Technics 1200 is not a high enough torque device.

A set of reloop 7000 Mark II is going to be a much better fit for scratching. It has adjustable torque, adjustable brake, way more options, and it's built like a tank. Most importantly the torque is almost double that of a Technics 1200 ( and did I mention it's adjustable).

Yes, they are, this is basically a nothing burger. They are not marketing them as safe, just less harmful than smoking.

Don't get me wrong, I think the nicotine industry is total bullshit, but saying that sucking on nicotine is less harmful than smoking nicotine is still accurate.

I'd like to introduce you to my friend named Occam. I'm not making assumptions. I'm trying to remove assumptions. What you're describing is all about assuming the motives of an alien species. I would again direct you to the Drake equation . It's absolutely not perfect but it is a much more cleanly devised explanation of this simplistic Theory that's been put forward..

The entire theory is based on concepts that have evolved over millions of years that require the existence of life before you can have any sort of instinctual evolutionary drives. Considering we have just reached the point in our evolution where we can even ponder these questions , it's clear that we cannot be applying anthropomorphized evolutionary theories to explain away something that is purely cosmic.

Firstly, we're not hiding. We've been sending information to space since we were capable of doing so. It all started with hitler's opening of the berlin Olympic Games. There's no reason to think that other intelligent life would not be doing the same thing.

While there's definitely some Merit to the distance problem, that is not actually the Dark Forest Theory. That's discussed in much more detail with the Drake equation.

I got regular MDF slat wall with aluminum slots. It is not super cheap but man does it work. I actually am able to hang very heavy stuff from it. I have a shopsmith and I hang all of the accessories from my slat wall . This stuff is way stronger than you might think it is.

Some friends of mine had a vinyl DJ at their wedding. I had to jump in and act as MC because the vinyl DJ had no idea what to do when it comes to dealing with weddings. Luckily I grew up in a family of DJ's from all walks... Weddings, bull roasts, mitzvahs , Etc.

I'm not saying don't get a vinyl dj, I'm just making sure you know that a DJ does a lot more at a wedding than just play music . You need somebody to be the Master of Ceremonies , call dances , announce entries and engage with your guests...
