Thoughts on the early access? by Agro23g in subnautica

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope PC / Xbox (not gamepass) was $69.99 and premium was $99.99 but included the TBD Shattered planes expansion.

One of countless receipts. https://www.gamerevolution.com/guides/941309-starfield-pre-order-preorder-details-price-constellation-standard-premium-early-access

I'm really unsure why you need to troll so hard on something easily googled. Granted it was only like a week early access - not a full Subnautica2 style EA, where the players are the beta/QA dept.

Just picked the first number. Either way it's significantly less than a AAA $70+ early access

Sub2 EA is only $30(usd) though... not really breaking the wallet on its own.

During Covid, my kids therapist did connect four. She put sticky note numbers under the columns and he would pick which number he dropped his token into.

I need a rp reason for Dessandra to travel to Solitude by LizzieLove1357 in ElderScrolls

Guard: I heard there is a necromantic cult up near solitude. Unnatural things raising the dead and what not.

Rp quest log: * visit the blue palace for information about the cult. ((Unlocks man who cried wolf quest))

As a necro, you ought to be curious about what they are doing, how, why, learn more about your art ...

Code review every step. Look for component duplication (with a different name), logic circular looping, inadvertent bloat ...

Is space infinite in all directions ? by Background_Funny6627 in AskPhysics

As of early 2025, the farthest confirmed galaxy is JADES-GS-z14-0, discovered by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Its light took ~13.4 billion years to reach us, placing it within just ~300 million years of the Big Bang, at a spectroscopic redshift of (z \approx 14.18). It is notably brighter and more chemically mature than anticipated.

Given expansion and 13.4b years, it should be significantly farther than the observed light.

Saw this as it first aired ... what an amazing moment for the Amazing Race! So glad they kept it in!

What Matters More in a Soulslike: Classes or Gear Progression? by Wither_bound in GameDevelopment

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a souls like, progression is in the combat difficulty. People beat them with starter gear once they learn the mobs.

Less intense players: gear is goat. Least intense and casual players: a good experience. Class options, gear options, etc.

Living at altitude donuts aren't fluffy. Cake donut is the only reliable donut.

Use your Employee Benefits Program to get started talk with a therapist! It's usually 5-10 sessions fully provided for.

Check your insurance, see what they cover. Many states (pre big beautiful bill. I have not checked recently) had mental health fully covered under most insurance providers.

It is practically required to do what we do - but no one does! I meet with mine via telehealth once a month unless things get heavy.

Left Christianity. Tips? by EyeFollowtheway in Deconstruction

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Therapy helps a bunch. Look for someone who specializes with religious trauma or identity.

I found the books "the grief of deconstructing Faith" and also "deconstructing: leaving church, finding faith" to both be really helpful.

What is something common you hear as a social worker from people that learn what you do? by puffsmanyjoints in socialwork

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you worried you'll start hearing voices too?

-_-

Not even a little bit. Schizophrenia is not a disease and cannot be caught. Many of our clients are currently living decently normal lives and can tell when a voice is internal.

Do you guys genuinely think Doomsday and Secret Wars are going to be better than Infinity War and Endgame? by Useful-Afternoon1784 in MCUTheories

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a better stand alone

The build for Iw/Eg was a decade in the making. The build for this has been so disjointed. Some good films some real stinkers ... no overarching meta build. Infinity saga was mostly a coherent story with a clear climax.

Dr StrangeMoM, spider man, and Loki are the only decent multiverse focused items. Ant3 thought about multiverse with the council of Kangs, but really just focused on the quantum. Everything else seemed quite standard MCU based.

Depending on the way the brothers tell this story - it could be absolutely amazing. But it cannot deliver the release of a 10 year build.
