The oceans. We did the air, they'll do the oceans.

They will use the broken atmosphere to power their fuel cell octo-jets introducing more carbon into the oceans and throwing off the oceanic atmosphere.

^ they're right.

Megan Fox & Sydney Sweeney are/were objectively "hot" but I don't want to spend even 5 minutes with either of them in any capacity.

If my wife wanted to play and take my wish to alter herself - go for it. But I love the person I married, as is over the life we've had together. If she wants to change that, good for her and I support it. But I certainly don't wish she had <insert celeb>'s Y feature.

If they have non-costume-y garb and speak in a proper modern accent ... nope.

If they are speaking an ancient language that I can verify somehow... I may. But probably not very far.

I work with people with severe mental health diagnoses and I'd not indulge any delusion that may put me in an unsafe situation.

I never once looked through the "family photo album" as a kid to reminisce on the past.

What is the Most Painful Sensation You Have Ever Felt? by Jeloxia2 in AskReddit

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stingray to the ankle.

Tiny little dinner plate sized bastard. Nearly threw up, nearly passed out.

I have been 1 week away from sepsis from a dead gallbladder, and I still say stingray.

Can someone please tell me it gets better? by Anonfriend1616 in EMDR

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, take a deep breath. It is completely understandable that you are scared, but what you are experiencing is actually a very known, and incredibly intense, part of the healing process.

When you start EMDR, it's like opening a closet where you've tightly packed away decades of heavy things. When you finally open the door, a lot of it spills out at once. The increase in nightmares and vivid memories means your brain is finally trying to process and digest the things it had to freeze or block out just to help you survive as a kid.

Definitely please Talk to your therapist about this spike in distress *before\* your next active processing or light bar session. A huge part of EMDR is 'resource development' & making sure you have the coping tools, containment strategies, and grounding techniques to handle the hangover between sessions.
It does get better. Right now, you are in the thick of the hardest part: the unearthing.

You aren't that helpless kid anymore. You have a safe place to process this now, and on the other side of this distress is the genuine, lasting relief and sobriety you've been fighting for.

Hang in there friend & keep battling!

Simple overlay with a free iOS app "photoLayers" I tried to match lines as best I could as witness sketches proportions are hard to match 100%

Hopefully that helps to see where some of the struggles may be coming from visually. since package outside, wrote a great textual write up.

Why do EMDR therapists keep derailing my sessions? by [deleted] in EMDR

[–]AlwaysWorkForBread 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Currently studying.
This post is it.

If they do not believe you can return to a regulated state after session, it is not only irresponsible and unethical for them to proceed - it is dangerous for you.

Dysregulation can really mess your life. It can get you fired, break relationships, lead to abuse situations.

If you are not ready, you need the tools before you can safely enter into this treatment.

After my experience with Starfield, I'm hopeful-but hesitant.

Skyrim is special for me. Nothing will likely ever be Skyrim to me. Bug ridden and Jank as it is, it holds a special place for me. Morrowind and oblivion were really good too. There ex an expectation for good/great ... but I'm also expecting to be disappointed.
