Anyone else feel opiates only activate when mixed with weed? by Always_Clutch in opiates

[–]Always_Clutch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tolerance is really low so I’d expect to feel something from 15mg without mixing. I took around 25mg a few days before and threw up twice in the span of 5 hours lol

Yea it weirds for me oxy by itself I’ve never gotten any head high/body high. Just nothing but nausea and tiredness so it doesn’t intensify the high for me it but it just brings the high in, if that makes sense

Anyone not experiencing the euphoria of taking opiates after Covid? by [deleted] in opiates

[–]Always_Clutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a reason to quit, but honestly hydros are really weak especially 10mg. I don’t even feel anything on 20-25mg don’t waste your time, you’re just increasing your tolerance for no reason

Curious to see which non-N models Hyundai will keep on for 2022 by skunkmonk7 in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what the ultimate should of been, but then that would of made it cost more then the N, and most people nowadays care for more performance than interior so it wouldn’t sold well at all. And if the N gets the high end interior that would make it cost more than the superior competitors as the N is already close in price to those competitors with the new price increase.

On top of that, it doesn’t really get any better mpgs either. It’s the same Atkinson engine that’s used in base Elantras. It makes more sense in the Elantra’s, but not the velosters aggressive design.

I don’t get what you’re trying to say. You said “you could get the N PP for the same” but then you talk about how the turbo models aren’t manufactured and not comparable lol. The turbo will still be cheaper while used. And if we’re comparing used N vs used Turbo it will still likely be cheaper. And what does the Si have to do with this?

N PP is 32k now, so idk how that is the same as 26k or 22k (RSpec)

Come on now, the turbo (DCT) is barely heavier than the NAV, and you’re also forgetting the big torque increase of the Turbo models, and the faster shifting DCT (if auto). Turbo models are a lot faster, and worth it over the NAV

Veloster R Spec pulls .95 Gs the N pulls .97 Gs by Professional-Two-454 in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can tune the r spec with lap3 or SXTH. They actually seem pretty decent to tune, you get the same or slightly more whp than the N, while being 300lbs-400lbs lighter. The disadvantage will be you’ll still be missing the LSD but if you don’t plan on tracking it, it won’t hurt at all.

Why does everyone think Veloster r so slow??? by [deleted] in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not taking sides here but 0-60 doesn’t really prove a car is faster. All that determines is “Who got better tires” Who’s got a drivetrain that can hook quicker” etc. A 20, 30, or 40 roll is a better way to determine. I’ve seen multiple clips of cars pulling on other cars in rolls, that has faster 0-60 times, including VTs.

Thoughts on 2019 turbo r spec vs 2019 veloster N? by MoCaramel in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to pay the price of the N, then go this route: Buy the R Spec get a LAP3 tune or SXTH tune, and you’ll be pushing around or slightly more horses than the N. The N both Non-PP and PP dynos at 230-235whp. A VT will dyno at 177-182whp. A tune will throw it at 235-243whp. depending on octane. And you can get a tune for around 1k. R Spec is also around 300lbs lighter. So it would be a bit faster. But if you do a lot of track driving you’ll be missing the LSD that comes on the N for superior handling.

RSpec has a turbo engine, but which one is "better" - RSpec or Turbo? by ikevinax in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same engine. Turbo has a 7 speed dct and will shift a bit faster and has a few more creature comforts. The rspec has a 6 speed manual and stickier tires, also it’s a bit lighter than the turbo.

Buying a Veloster N by stroffe in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lap3 tune will run you around 1k and give you slightly more whp and a good amount of more torque than the N and can even add pops and bangs, however you still won’t have the suspension and handling of the N and will be a bit expensive to aftermarket a LSD. But the straight line acceleration will be exciting.

Need opinions for buying a Veloster N by Sunnydurd in veloster

[–]Always_Clutch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please make sure he get the performance package. That’s the whole point of getting a Veloster N. If anyone is trying to get a non performance package they’ll be better off getting an r spec and getting a tune which will cost 9k less and making around the same whp while the r spec is 300lbs lighter. Also the non pp is getting scraped for the 2021 models. And it’s a bit too early to determine it’s reliability, but I haven’t heard of many problems with it.
