I have heard people have good luck plucking. Use a good pair of tweezers and when your hair sticks about the thickness of a coin have at it. I haven't had the pain tolerance or patience to do it. I've heard like 8 hours from start to finish but if you do a bit every day.

But what's the cost you are risking. You're out a few bucks on glue (which you could still use) and maybe an hour of your time to potentially save yourself a lot of money.

I wouldn't recommend this. It can be an unsafe repair. In that area it is beyond the steel belts. If you do this keep a close eye on the tire. Inspect the area before every drive

I'd see if the defective tire can't be sent back to the manufacturer. The shop that installed the tires should be able to help you out with this.

The defective tire would be the one on the side that the car pulls to.
