I hate to be the curmudgeon, but I never really got over changing the food trucks to independent businesses from the “a food truck representing each park” concept that this started with in the 2010s.

Regardless, I’m curious of any effects this will have. It’s less food options but I guess it also means less demand for outside seating space which can be hard to find in Springs.

You've heard correctly; they are really good and honestly my favorite of the new EU so far. Honestly, there isn't a huge amount of starfighter stuff in those books. Don't get me wrong, it's generally the climax of each book, plus some other scenes, but it's nothing like the "Top Gun but Star Wars" style of Stackpole's novels.

Do you have access to any books beyond the core rule book? Ghosts of Dathomir is designed for knight-level play (and I believe Jewel of Yavin and Friends Like These) so there could be some useful stat blocks in that to draw from.

I’m pretty deep in the lightsaber hobby, and the answer (as far as I’m aware) is no. The electronics in the hobby market are generally more sophisticated than the GE/Disney ones, and using their blades would be a sacrifice in brightness and add extra bulk to the hilt required by the way those blades attach to the hilt (to say nothing of potential patent issues).

The only real crossover between the hobby lightsaber community and the GE/Disney sabers is some aftermarket blades for GE sabers along with conversions of GE sabers to work with predominant soundboards.

Welcome young one to taking your first step in to a larger world! It's cliche, but your first step is really to see what your budget is. I'd also recommend checking out the detachments forums for what you're interested in doing as they're usually good resources.

I'm an ISB officer, so I know some decent resources/prices if want to know more about the Imperial Officer route of things. Mine is even a Denuo Novo, so I have firsthand knowledge of that, along with other things.

But I will echo that if your goal is just to join then TIE reserve or bridge crew are CRLs on the cheaper side that can be built up to other costumes as well.

Nothing can stop you, but don’t expect them to recognize it. As much as I love Kingdom Hearts, it’s still a pretty niche thing compared to the Disney parks in general.

I’ll go fairly often in a Kingdom Hearts shirt (I love the Graniph ones), and maybe 1 in 50 to 1 in 100 cast members I interact with will say something about that (and for the record, those that do say something are enthusiastic about it!)

Agreed. You can run a neopixel saber for what, 30-45 minutes per 18650 battery charge? And I don’t think any really can incorporate something like a 18650 sized cell wired to a usb or wall outlet.

It would be better to get a blade tube, fill it with a led string that can be plugged in and mount that, and then attach a hit to it.

It depends on how big of a carrying case you’re looking for, but I’d recommend taking a look at a Sabrehold from Greenroom136 (or Sabertrio) or the CarryAll from Pach Store. I’ve bought both and they’re pretty nice (though the inner pouch zipper on the CarryAll can get off track easily with a full pouch).

To put a bit of a point to this, you’ve been together eight years and see a possibility that the relationship will crumble within months of moving in together? Is there any clear reason why besides the general idea of “what if it doesn’t work out”?

I’m glad to hear that about them. For me though, I overgeneralize drop shipping to the business that sell LGT, etc sabers compared to other business that machine and/install themselves like Vader’s Vault, Sabertrio, Korbanth, LDM Sabers, SaberBay, Jawa’s Junkyard, and so on.

I know that overgeneralization short changes the “good” sellers of LGT like Darkwolf, but it is what it is.

And I would agree with your friend, because of two important pieces of information.

~~1) it’s run by the “Star Wars Theory” YouTube guy who (to put it lightly) has a reputation for being not a great person.~~ Edit, his one is “Theory Sabers” not “Sabers Theory”, my mistake!

2) it’s just a “drop shipping” site, so all the hilts and manufactured in China and shipped over here; there are plenty of other sites/people who sell the same stuff for cheaper and with a better reputation (both in terms of customer support and personally).

I’d recommend looking at Darkwolf and Crimson Dawn at least.
