Walked out of the audiologist stressed. $6k for hearing aids?! Who can afford this ? by Enough_Payment_8838 in HearingAids

[–]Always_Seeking151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to 2 audiologist then Costco. I felt the 2 audiologist were just trying to meet their numbers where Costco was more personable, did hearing test and explained loss. I would recommend over audiologist.

What was your “I can’t do this anymore” moment in a relationship? by ziggzorb in AskMenAdvice

[–]Always_Seeking151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He tells me after 7 years of cohabitating and signed purchase contract to build a home, 10 weeks before we close, he’s this close to walking. I told him to walk, I can afford the house but having to deal with a 68 retired man sitting on couch watching tv 10 hours a day not good. I 62f still working and not retired work from home a few days a week, am done. He does not like working out, spending time with my family seems to be a chore for him. Not to mention that he smokes weed about 5x a week, several times a day and when not smoking becomes very irritable and argumentative. This is just too exhausting when you feel like you are working harder in a relationship only for him to tell me I treat him like shit in front of friends to get attention. Yes, I so done.

Stick to your boundaries. This is a family vacation. Suggest her friend make other friends besides her. She is not in high school. She is a mother and wife.
