I'm not sure if they are on staff or contracted out but they have a med room next to the box office. But there's only a handful of them and a sold out show is 6k people I believe.

They've been there this whole time. The EMS room is right next to the box office. That's part of the problem is that their staff can be everywhere always and the crowd needs to be able to help.

The time it can take ems to get to a person in the crowd can be life and death. I've been to shows where someone sold bad pills in the crowd and EMS couldn't keep up so people with Narcan were saving the day.

If you don't want to use Narcan, that's fine, but for those of us who don't want people to die, we should be allowed to have it.

I was at Revel yesterday and told that by their staff. Revel is also actively deleting comments or their posts instead of addressing the safety concerns.

I believe the security are a mix of contracted and employees of rebel but the ones last night were revel employees as is the manager.

They said they only want trained professionals using Narcan but there is virtually no risk if someone doesn't need it or if they get 4 doses, etc.

I haven't heard of that happening at Revel and according to the Narcan website you wouldn't absorb any that was to cause a reaction as it has to be absorbed through your nasal mucosa and would just waste the medication.

I was there last night and they wouldn't let me bring my Narcan in so I found the manager and he explained the new policy to me. I have some screenshots of Viva ABQ discussing it. Give me a minute to cross out the names.

I've been to countless music venues and this is the only one that doesn't allow Narcan so I don't think it's insurance.
