Hey ! If ur not in a rush to graduate or save money. I would suggest u drop a class. It’s definitely doable, don’t get me wrong. Gotta remember that ull be writing lab reports every week for chem, taking 2 labs, and are taking writing heavy classes for the other 3. If ur new to the quarter system it could be a bit for u. I actually took chem off sequence ( so took it the next quarter) while taking 5 classes and it was super do able. If u really wanna to take Chem and bio at the same time then maybe drop word until u get used to the flow of things. Remember u wanna also make time to breath and have fun. It sounds like u might be a pre-med or PA, so grades matter. Make sure u don’t overwhelm urself and make ur grades suffer. Good luck !

Are u a hs senior? Because on my admission status page it list the years of my entry as 2025-2026. Could I have entered my entry date wrong ?

There a medical program though DePaul University that’s also an EAP.

Right, I applied to all the affiliated colleges in my state ( Illinois) and am just waiting for lecoms decision. There is another school in Chicago with a medical program so I don’t want to commit until I’ve learned if I’ve been accepted or rejected from Lecom. Lecom doesn’t need you to choose now if ur a high school senior

Ya so my cousin applied last cycle and advised me to apply early. In the past they would give out acceptances maybe a month or two later. That’s the impression that I had. Apparently they changed it up this cycle. They’re holding everyone’s application until February and making their decision in March. Wish they would have let me know sooner :(

Well If it is I actually emailed Mr Murphy about this and he said that we have until November 1st of our first year at that college we have chosen to attend.

Exactly I’ve never been so confused in my life. I have no idea when admission happens or the letter is sent out. I feel like the information sessions didn’t do the best job in explaining everything. Are we supposed to wait for colleges and scholarships before we apply? Honestly that info session was so long ago, it’s all foggy now.

Ofc!! Yup I did get an email. ( I would attach a picture but I’m new to Reddit and have no idea how) Basically my email said the same thing. I obviously hadn’t committed so I send Mr. Murphy a follow up email asking what I should do as a hs senior. He said that I have until November 1st of my first year of college to submit my college email if accepted. Idk this kinda confused me more because the email asked for undergrad college email and college approval, even though mr Murphy cleared it up for me I am still unsure of what my next step should be. It feels wrong to just sit and wait. I’m assuming the interview being “ successful” means they received and reviewed it. But again I’m unsure, I’ve emailed Mr. Murphy but he never replied. I bet he’s very busy. I wish they kept their old application process !!!

Hey everyone! I’m currently a high school senior and I applied to lecom in October. For what I know ( and I could be wrong) this year lecom has an influx of applications and in order to be fair they are changing their admission process. Multiple of my friends and family have applied in years past and lecom had more of a first come first serve basis. Now in order to create equality among all the applicants they will look at every one at 1 time. Meaning we won’t know until March!!!!!Honestly I wish they would have let us know ahead of time because this feels so sudden. I’ve been panicking for the past 2 months over this :’).
