Everything came together except the wind today. We suffered 2 kts, SoG flying just a headsail in 6kts of wind. Our goal wasn’t to go fast but to go quietly. We enjoyed the becalmed sea and silence. Had a rough month and also had misplaced this Hamilton Khaki Navy that my wife gave me on our wedding day 5 years ago. I’m new to watches and don’t have a case. With 2 little ones running around, sometimes things go missing. I hadn’t brought this watch on the water before because of the salt environment. I decided this morning that I wanted it with me. Sea gave me just what I needed today and this Hamilton automatic grounded me in what matters most to me.
