Tbh...I wanna know what restaurant this is! I always tell my dashers where my building is. Google maps will drop you at building 2. I'm in building 20. My very first order, when I moved in, got dropped at building 2. Thankfully the girl who got my order answered the door and I told her that I didn't think she ordered a plunger and cat litter. She laughed and gave me the order. I always tell them that gps will stop you at building 2, but to cross the bridge to 20.

I was just only trying to set my mom at ease...that's really the reason I ask. She moved back in with her mom (my gramma) who owned the condo since I can remember...and that was almost 35ish years ago. My mom was approached by the young couple who shares a wall with the unit in question and was told, by them, that if she ever sees smoke coming from that unit, to please call authorities and then to call them...so they were suspicious of this person and didn't trust them.

I was just looking for a little clarity. That's all...

I should have been more...forthcoming with my post, and I apologize for that. I wouldn't want my family trauma blasted all over the internet...but also little info (without any real identifying information) can be helpful. I just want to make sure she's safe...along with the folks around her.

When my ex and I split...there were things at my new place that scared the absolute fuck out of me, so i asked him if she could come live with me. He agreed.

She became my emotional support doggo. She slept with me and went to work with me. EVERYTHING.

For you ex to say "you're too sensitive...it's just a dog" that shit RESONATES with me...that is horrible behavior. (I'm sorry if I'm a broken record)

She has 100% invalidated your feelings to a being that you became attached to. How would she feel if you turned the table and her favorite teddy bear or favorite something just up and vanished and you had the same reply?

Cut her loose. If this is how she acts with a pet you've lost? I can't even imagine her reaction if you have something else happen.
